Bonhams Auctions will auction over (80) historically significant collector motorcars along with period collect motoring memorabilia during the 80th Annual Goodwood Members’ Meeting in Chichester, Goodwood UK on April 16th, 2023.

Bonhams auction takes place in conjunction with the 80th annual two-day Goodwood Members’ Meeting. The two-day event features world-class racing (including motorcycles) on the Goodwood Motor Circuit race track, as well as games, entertainment, trophies, stunning demos, auctions, and festivities. It is regarded as one of Europe’s most exclusive motorsport events.

“The Members’ Meeting sponsored by Audrain Motorsport features an action-packed weekend of exhilarating auto racing, thrilling track demonstrations, and exciting events. It is only accessible to Goodwood Road Racing Club members and is uncrowded, cozy, and accessible everywhere.”

On a spotlight event, Bonhams will once again hold a one-day auction with some of the world’s most expensive and sought-after cars. The cars range in years and design from a 1901 Renault 4½hp Type D Rear-entry Tonneau with Canopy to a 2004 Ferrari 575M Maranello ‘HGTC’ Coupé.

Other notable European marques to cross the Bonhams auctioneer hammer will be from such notable marques as Bentley, Ferrari, Roles-Royce, Jaguar, Bugatti, Porsche, and Aston Martin. On the older vintage side, such famous marques include Lagonda, Vauxhall, Talbot, Mosler, Invicta, Mosler, and even an Invicta.

From the other side of the pond, three American Made cars will hit the block, including a 1989 AC AC Cobra Mk IV Roadster, a 1974 Stutz Blackhawk Coupé, and even a 1959 Chevrolet El Camino Corvette Custom Pickup.

The four antique classic cars pictured above are up for auction. They include a 1931 Bentley 8-Litre Le Mans-style Tourer, a 1960 Austin-Healey 3000 Mk1 Rally Car, a 1913 Hispano-Suiza 3.0-Litre Type 20, and a 1963-64 Cooper-Chevrolet Racing Sports-Prototype.

The above motor cars are listed for sale as:

• 1931 Bentley 8-Litre Le Mans Style Tourer with one of only (100) 8-Litre models made. Price to sell at £550,000 – £650,000.
• 1960 Austin-Healey Rally Car 3000 Mk1 Rally winner Rome-Liège with Pat Moss/Ann Wisdom. Price to sell at £350,000 – £450,000.
• Bernard Parris, A J C Thomas 1913 Hispano-Suiza 3.0-Litre Type 20 is a Four-Seater Sports Tourer. This car is priced to sell at about £300,000 – £350,000.
• 1963-64 Cooper-Chevrolet Racing Sports-Prototype Blocker Nickey Chevrolet Team USRRC Riverside-winning. This car is a regular Goodwood Revival. The car is priced to sell at around £190,000 – £220,000.
