(Updated Sept. 14, 2025) – The Telluride Autumn Classic Returns September 25-27, 2025, amid the vibrant hues of the San Juan Mountains for its 10th anniversary. Car enthusiasts and collectors will converge for a celebration of vintage automobiles, exotic supercars, motorcycles, and historic aircraft.

The festival takes place in Telluride and Mountain Village, Colorado, and promises rare restored vehicles, classic and antique vehicles (both pre- and post-war), supercars, and good old American-made muscle cars.

Once again, the Splendid scenery plays a starring role. Million-dollar machines will be displayed under crisp autumn skies, with the rugged peaks as backdrop—on venues including the newly-opened Hangar 30 at Telluride Regional Airport, the Heritage Plaza in Mountain Village, and the Telluride Ski & Golf Course driving range at over 9,000 feet elevation.

The festival will span three days and multiple venues, featuring marquee events such as the Welcome Reception at Hangar 30, the Silverton Poker Run Road Rally, the “Cool Cars on Colorado” street display, and the mountaintop Concours on the Golf Course.

Set in the San Juan Mountains, the Telluride Autumn Classic offers much more than a conventional motoring festival. Over four days, this event celebrates the world of automobiles and motorcycles, while also weaving in family-friendly activities, live music, art, contests, shopping, and more.

Venues & Events

 

• Hangar 30 at Telluride Regional Airport
  The festival kicks off here at sunset on Thursday. The “Welcome to Telluride” reception unfolds in this capacious hangar under soaring ceilings, where aviation enthusiasts will appreciate the echoes of wings and propellers — where historic aircraft meet the roar of super-charged engines.

 

• Heritage Plaza, Mountain Village
  Art, sculpture, light and shade, and people moving at a slower pace — this plaza becomes a marketplace of creativity. Forty-four artists from across North America will show their work here, giving contrast to the automotive spectacle: brushwork beside bodywork, sculptures among steel. • Telluride Ski & Golf Course Driving Range, Mountain Village
  For many, this is the centerpiece: the Concours, staged on a three-tiered driving range high above town at about 9,000 feet. Imagine rows of restored classics and supercars lined up, with the San Juan Mountain ridges draped in autumn splendor behind them. Each day brings its own rhythm:

 

• Thursday feels like anticipation: arriving, checking in, greeting friends in the hangar, previewing art, hearing distant engine notes.

• Friday has motion: the Road Rally’s early engine hum, winding mountain passes, returning to Telluride’s Main Street as a parade of color and design.

 

• Saturday builds to peak: the Concours at high altitude in daylight, the panel, the contests, then evening festivities that let everything simmer and shine.

 

• Sunday is reflective: last views of art, one more walk past classic cars, small conversations, awarding the concours, people’s choice, and making mental plans for next year.
