(La Jolla, CA: Jan 21, 2024) – The La Jolla Concours d’Elegance will celebrate three days of car-filled events featuring over 150 world-class historic vehicles on the coastal surfside in La Jolla Cove, California, on Sunday, April 24, 2024.
The weekend includes an oceanfront Concours d’Elegance, VIP parties, private vehicle showings, luxury oceanside lounging, libations, gourmet food, and live entertainment.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Friday Evening VIP Party (April 19, 2024): A glamorous start to the weekend with a party featuring live music, delicacies from top restaurants, cocktails, a live auction, and an exclusive display of rare vehicles.
- Porsches on Prospect (April 20, 2024): A showcase of 75 stunning Porsches along Prospect and Herschel Street in La Jolla Village, complemented by live music, retail specials, and restaurant offerings.
- La Jolla Concours d’Elegance (April 21, 2024): The main event on Sunday, features over 150 rare and collectible cars on the oceanfront lawns of La Jolla Cove, complete with vehicle judging, awards, food, and entertainment.
- Tickets: $80 for general admission and $500 for VIP tickets.
The main event is Sunday’s Concours, which will feature over 150 rare and collectible cars on the oceanfront lawns of La Jolla Cove. The Concours include vehicle judging, vehicle awards, food, and entertainment. All vehicles are award-winning classics that date as far back as 1900 and include such iconic car classics as Bugatti, Mercedes, Marmon, Pierce Arrow, Alfa Romeo, and many more.
Beyond the cars, the weekend also includes several VIP events, starting with “The Friday VIP Party.” The VIP party starts with the weekend on Friday, April 22nd, on the La Jolla Cove lawns, just adjacent to the majestic Pacific Ocean.
“This is the elite, luxury car show in La Jolla that car enthusiasts and tasteful autophiles flock to every year. Celebrating the Timeless Elegance of the Roaring 20’s and the Glamorous 30’s.”
The VIP Friday Party includes delicacies from 15 of San Diego’s top restaurants, custom-crafted cocktails from expert mixologists, a live auction, entertainment, and an exclusive display of rare Duesenbergs. Tickets for the VIP party cost $500.
Another VIP event is the “Luxury Ocean Suite Lounge VIP Experience” which takes place in conjunction with Sunday’s Concours. The Lounge VIP Experience includes exclusive access to an oceanside suite, a private lounge, private seating, cocktail service, and a belly bar. Additional VIP goodies include top-shelf libations, local gourmet food, a private car tour, and a signed cover art poster by renowned artist Scott Jacobs. Tickets for this event cost $500. The La Jolla Concours also includes a VIP luncheon, live entertainment, a live auction, and private classic car viewings.
This year, some of the historical marque classes that will be on display include Mercedes-Benz 300SL 1954-1963, Porsche 1955-1975, Ferrari 1948-1995, Japanese 1960-1984, Race Cars 1950-1986, and Pre-War/Post-War Motorcycles.
Additional features vehicle brands include American Classics (1915-1948), Bugatti 1909-1963, European Classics and Coachbuilt 1925–1958, Jaguar 1945-1975, and American Muscle Cars 1960-1974.
In all, the car show will feature over 150 unique award-winning vehicles and present over 20 car awards. The featured Concours Car Show is on Sunday the 24th, of April (2024) from 9 am to 5 pm. The awards will start at 12:00 pm and extend throughout the day.
Judges Will Judge Over 150 Collectible Cars Followed By Award Presentations To The Cars In The Best Condition On Sunday.
During the event on Sunday, you will be able to visit dozens of vendors selling auto-related memorabilia, serving gourmet food, and thirst-quenching libations.
