The Sandhills Motoring Expo and Concours in the Village will proudly present over 120 unique and hand-picked collector cars on the picturesque historic streets of Pinehurst, N.C., over Memorial Day weekend, starting May 22 through May 24, 2026.
The Sunday Concours in the Village will feature over 16 classes of unique vehicles and a variety of specialty car display cars right in the center of the Village. The cars will be on display from 9 am until 3 pm, after which the car judges will present trophies to the winners of Best of Show. The awards start at 2 pm in the center of town.
The Sunday Sandhills Concours offers a breathtaking historic walk through time to share and experience over 120 historic and exotic collector cars with neighbors, friends, and family
Additionally, there will be an Awards Banquet following the vehicle awards presented on Sunday. The Dinner is scheduled for Sunday, May 24th, from 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm at the “Pinehurst Fair Barn” located at 200 Beulah Hill Rd S, Pinehurst, NC 28374. The award dinner will feature cocktails, awards, and a gourmet dinner.
The Moore County Airport’s Main Hangar will host the SMF Hangar Soiree on Saturday night, with special exhibit automobiles, gourmet cuisine, exotic cars, and airplanes on display. Come enjoy a lavish SMF celebration.

Overall, the three-day Sandhills Motoring Expo includes a Block Party on Friday, Motoring Through Moore and a Road Rally on Saturday, The Artisan Tour on Saturday, a Hangar Soiree on Saturday evening, and ending with the Concours in the Village and Awards Dinner in Pinehurst on Sunday.

Hagerty Cocktail Party

The Hagerty Cocktail Party gets the evening rolling with a special invitation event, featuring delectable bites, adult beverages, and a welcome to entrants as they help usher in and celebrate the commencement of the Sandhills Motoring Expo.

Sandhills Road Rally
Saturday, May 23, 2026 (8:00 am – 2:00 pm)
On Saturday Morning, the Sandhills Road Rally takes off for a scenic journey through the beautiful back roads of Moore County.
*** In past Expos, winning vehicles have included everything from a 1982 Mercedes-Benz 300CD to modern Porsche 911s, testing wit and wheels across the Sandhills.

The Artisan Tour:
Saturday, May 23, 2026 (10:00 am)
The Artisan Tour takes participants on a journey to explore local craftsmanship, including a visit to the renowned Starworks facility. Attendees will have the opportunity to observe international artists working with glass, ceramics, and metal.
A highlight of this tour is the hot glass demonstration, showcasing the mesmerizing process of glassmaking.

Hangar Soiree Food & Social:
Saturday, May 23, 2026 (6:00 pm – 9:00 pm)
The Hangar Soiree, held at the Moore County Airport, promises an evening of exotic cars, vintage aircraft, and gourmet cuisine. Set in an elegant aviation setting, this soirée offers a chance to celebrate automotive style under the backdrop of a historic hangar.

Concours in the Village

On Sunday, the Sandhills Motoring Expo will feature over 120 classic Automobiles and Motorcycles across 16 classes in competition for best-of-show awards in the heart of historic Pinehurst.
After the Concours in the Village, awards will be presented to the top cars in their respective class starting at 2:00 pm. The Concours is followed by an Awards Dinner.
