The Throttle Car Club will be hosting a 50-100 classic car auction at their new 35,000-square-foot facility in Scarborough, Maine on May 20, 2023.
The Throttle Car Club is one of New England’s premier car social clubs. The club offers a luxury custom-manufactured facility for car storage, car detailing, and social events. The club members enjoy amenities such as a private clubhouse, a private member’s lounge, conference rooms, a fully staffed modern bar, racing, golf simulators, big-screen TVs, and plenty of workspaces. Additionally, the club offers special events such as corporate parties, charity events, and even classic car auctions.
On May 20, The Throttle Club will feature a classic car auction that will feature a full range of classic vehicles. Vehicle car classes include highly collectible rare cars, vintage classic cars, specialty vehicles, hot rods, luxury cars, and even motorcycles.
THE CARS
Marques and notable car brands include both European Marques and Domestic Brands. Some of the European Marques include Jaguar, Land Rover, Triumph, Porsche, BMW, and Alfa Romeo while Domestic Brands include Chevrolet, Ford, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Plymouth, Mercury, and more.
The above cars to be auctioned are an extremely rare 1970 Porsche 911 S (with the same owner since 1971 Rare “S” model 911, same owner since 1971, 40 years of records), and a rare 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split Window Coupe (with 31K original miles (1 of 63) produced in this configuration).
Three stand out Domestic Chevrolet Corvettes include a very rare 1963 Rare split window (1 of 63), a 1969 Chevy Corvette 427/435HP Tri-Power (L71), and a 1971 Corvette LT1 Lingenfelter Coupe C2 4speed – Lt1 With T-tops.
Three Jaguars that stand out are the Jaguar E Type Series II Convertible w 51K Original Miles, a Classic Jaguar V12 E-Type Roadster, and a 2019 Jaguar Ipace EV400 First Edition with only 6,000 miles.
A couple of German Marques stand-out vehicles include a vintage 1970 Porsche 911 Rare S Model with the Same Owner since 19712012 Porsche 911 Turbo S, a 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 (964) All-wheel drive convertible, a rare 1973 BMW 3.0CS (E9)
Two more cars to be auctioned are this 2017 Chevrolet Camaro Pace Car SS Indy 500 Showstopper (Verified 1 of 101 Produced), and a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette 427/435HP (L71).
The auction will also offer customs such as a 1949 Dodge Rad Rod with S-10 tuning, a 1977 Trans Am Funny Car, and a vintage 1932 FORD 3 Window Coupe Custom Street Rod!
