Bonhams is delighted to return to The Amelia Island Concours in March 2023 for the 28th annual Amelia Island Auction at the Fernandina Beach Golf Club. Last year’s Bonhams auction at The Amelia was a huge success with many world record selling cars. We look forward to returning to Florida on March 3, 2023 to another successful year.

Last year, In record sale fashion, nearly 80-percent of cars that hit the auction block sold at the Amelia Island Bonhams Auction and generated over $21 million in total classic car sales. Records were broken when a 1932 Bugatti Type 55 Super Sport Roadster sold for over $7,100,000 at the auction.

The Bonhams Motoring Car department is the largest auction house to hold auction sales of classic motor cars, motorcycles, and related motor car memorabilia. Bonhams auto auctions are almost always held side-by-side with some of the most prestigious motor car shows, Concours d’Elegance, and motor car events around the globe.

The Bonhams Motoring Car department has enjoyed worldwide and record-breaking success for high price collectible cars. At one time Bonhams held the world record for the highest price ever paid for a car at an auction. It happened back in 2014 when the highest price ever paid for a car was a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO that sold for  $38,115,000. Other impressionable high-value selling cars went to Alfa Romeo, Austin-Healey, Bentley, Ferrari, Invicta, Lagonda, Lotus, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, and Rolls-Royce.
