The Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance Celebrates 27 Years At The The Ritz-Carlton March 3-6 (2022)

$150The Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance will celebrate another award-winning car show event at The Golf Club of Amelia Island and The Ritz-Carlton on March 3-6, 2022. Now in its 27th year, and under new ownership, the show promises to boast over 220 magnificent classic cars and some of the finest collectible cars in the world.
The three-day celebration will include car themed-events, entertainment, luxury shopping, auctions, seminars, new vehicle driving experiences, a Cars & Coffee Saturday and ends with the Concourse d’Elegance on Sunday.
The events start on Thursday with a Porsche Winemaker’s Dinner and continue to Friday with a Porsche Driving Experience, Road Tour, Manufactures New Vehicle Reveals, and a seminar hosted by NASCAR Hall of Fame Crew Chief Ray Evernham.
The party continues on Saturday morning with a NASCAR Seminar, a 300 car Cars & Community car show, two RM Sotheby’s Auctions, and a 2022 Honoree Dinner Saturday night honoring racing legend, Chip Ganassi. Included in the Cars & Community Car Show Event is the REDwood Show Cars, wor RM Sothebys Auctions, a new Concours d’Lemons Car Show, a “Kids Zone”, a showing many of Sunday’s Concours Award-winning cars.
The Amelia Concours d”Elegance (car show) is the main event of the weekend and starts Sunday, March 6 from 9:30 pm – 4:00 pm. The show takes place on the grassy lawns of “The Golf Club of Amelia Island” and “The Ritz-Carlton”. This is where 200 of the top cars in the world will be on display, judged, and presented with the coveted “Best of Show” at the end of the show.
Tickets for the show this year cost $150 for adults; $85 for Military Personnel, $75 for Younger Enthusiasts (ages 13-22) and kids under 12 are free. (Detail for tickets and Parking is listed below)

RM Sotheby’s Auction Preview Party
On Thursday, March 3rd starting at 10:00 there will be an “RM Sotheby’s Preview Party” which is an invite-only party that gives buyers a sneak peek at the car collections going up for auction Saturday.
Annual Porsche Winemaker’s Dinner (Thursday, March 3 from 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm)
Also at 6:30 to 10:30 pm is the “The Annual Porsche Winemaker’s Dinner: A Celebration of Dreamers” at the Ritz-Carlton in Amelia Island. (Reservations are required) This is where you can Kick-off your weekend with an intimate fine dining experience hosted by Porsche. Featuring a celebrated sommelier who pairs each course with wines complementary to the menu, this yearly event has been known to attract drivers and celebrities from across the Porsche landscape.

Amelia Island Concours Porsche Driving Experience
(Friday, March 4 from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm)
Also on Friday, March 4th at 7:00 there will be the “Porsche Driving Experience” that is open to the public, and no reservations are required, but you must be at least 21 years old.
Departs from the Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport. Drivers, and an optional (1) passenger, will travel in their personal vehicles to Jacksonville International Airport where they will enjoy activities including an autocross in one of the latest Porsches and a spirited ride with a professional driver. The tour will also make a stop at the fabulous Brumos Collection, which began as an eclectic private automotive collection that was stored on-site in Jacksonville, Florida. Many international and national award-winning cars, historical documents, and racing artifacts are housed in their new location.

Reliable Carriers Eight Flags Road Tour (Friday, March 4th at 8:30 )
And Later Friday, March 4th at 8:30 pm there will be the “Reliable Carriers Eight Flags Road Tour” that tours interesting locations on Amelia Island and concludes with lunch in downtown Fernandina Beach. (This event is open to entrants only and reservations are required.)
Manufacturer Test Drives (Friday, March 4th 9:00)
Free Test Drives From Car Manufacturers are offered all day long -The Cars from various manufacturers can be tested at the front driveway of Ritz-Carlton Hotel and The Golf Club of Amelia Island from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

RM Sotheby’s is throwing an invite-only party offering early attendees a sneak peek preview of the cars to be auctioned on Saturday. You can get a preview of the cars on both March 3rd and March 4th from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
36 Hours of Florida Friday Seminar at 3:00 Hosted by Ray Evernham.
Join us for a seminar hosted by NASCAR Hall of Fame Crew Chief Ray Evernham, featuring a panel of the greats of sports car racing who were very successful at the “36 Hours of Florida,” which included both the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring.

Join the fun Saturday for Cars & Community at The Golf Club of Amelia Island. This event is a family-friendly automotive day of fun that includes Cars & Caffeine and the Kids Zone and more. The event includes Cars & Caffeine that features over 300 award-winning cars, and the REDwood which is a tribute to favorite vehicles from the ’80s and ’90s. Also on Saturday is a Cars & Caffeine which is more like a sneak peek of some of the cars that will be on display on Sunday’s Concours d’Elegane. Lastly, on Saturday is the new Concours d’Lemons Car Show event that celebrates oddball, mundane, and truly awful cars of all kinds. Additionally, DON’T MISS THE “KIDS ZONE”, where there will be a special section dedicated to kids. It’s called “The Kids Zone” which is an automotive-themed area specifically designed for kids and offers Racing Simulators & Slot car racing. Children under 12 are admitted FREE for this event.

2021 BEST OF SHOW WINNERS
The 2021 26th Annual Amelia Island Concours finished with a champagne celebration of the Best of Show winners Presented by Chairman & Founder of the event Bill Warner. The two 2021 Concours winners were a 1926 Hispano-Suiza H6B Cabriolet owned by Charles and Jill Mitchell of Stuart Florida, and a black UOP fuel-injected 494/800 HP1974 Shadow DN4 Can Am racecar owned by James Bartel of Key West Florida.

There is parking available on the fairways of the Amelia Island Golf Club. This parking lot location is the closest parking to the event you will find. It is a short walk to the Concours Main Entrance. There will be signs posted on Fletcher Avenue and Amelia Island Pkwy. The arrows will point to the parking lot entrances. Lots B and Lot C
