San Marino Motor Classic Concours Car Show Will Host Over 400 Mint Cars In South California on August 22, 2021

SAN MARINO, Calif. (Aug 14, 2021) – The San Marino Motor Classic is the premier classic car collectors exhibition, show, and event that has taken place over the past ten years in San Marino California. The Concours-level exhibition should pull over 5,000 car enthusiasts and over 400 mint classic, vintage, exotic and modern cars on the rolling 30-acres of green lawns of Lacy Park near Pasadena California.

The San Marino Motor Classic located in the San Gabriel Valley is one of the premier Concours-level vehicle exhibitions in Southern California. The 10th Annual San Marino Motor Classic will be held this year on August 22, 2021, at Lacy Park in San Marino.

The San Marino Motor Classic features a broad array of motorcars that span more than a century. Co-founded by Aaron Weiss, Paul Colony and Ben Reiling, the 2014 event featured 31 classes of select vehicles. It is the successor of the Los Angeles Concours d’Elegance.

Twelve internationally renown automotive artists will display their most recent works at the Automotive Fine Arts Society (AFAS) Pavilion at the San Marino Motor Classic on Saturday afternoon, August 21, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. SAN MARINO MOTOR CLASSIC OVERVIEW

The San Marino Motor Classic: Design In Motion is an annual community event that brings increased public awareness of the history of the motor vehicle through a broad spectrum exhibition of historical automobiles from the early to mid-twentieth century. Proceeds raised from the event will benefit the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA and the Rotary Club of San Marino, both of which are 501(c)3 non-profit charities.

EVENT LOCATION

The San Marino Motor Classic will take place at Lacy Park located at 1485 Virginia Road, San Marino, Calif., 91108. Lacy Park is an exclusive 30-acre park in the heart of San Marino. San Marino is also home to the world-renowned Huntington Library, Art Collection and Botanical Gardens.

Car enthusiast and KABC 7’s Automotive Specialists Dave Kunz and Ed Justice, Jr. will be the Master of Ceremonies this year.

EVENT FOOD & BEVERAGE

Food will be available for attendees. A Midway consisting of 15 trade booths will be available for spectators to purchase gift items. The day concludes with an awards ceremony.

WHERE TO PARK

Parking is available on neighborhood streets surrounding the east entrance to the park. Tram stops are marked and a tram will circulate through the neighborhood picking up spectators at the marked Tram Stops located at the ends of north-south streets.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

The Motor Classic was started in 2011 by co-founders Aaron Weiss, Ben Reiling, and Paul Colony. It is the successor of the Los Angeles Concours d’Elegance. The inaugural event was a hybrid event combining the Classic Car Club of America Grand Classic with a contemporary Concours d’Elegance.
