The Simeone Automotive Museum Celebrates the 4th Annual Philadelphia Concours d’Elegance July 17th, 2021

The Fourth Annual Philadelphia Concours d’Elegance will take place at the Simone Automotive Museum on July 17th, 2021 to feature over 225 historic vehicles from several car collections. The Concours and car show will showcase an assembly of American and European classic and historic automobiles and vintage race cars.
The day-long event will include a classic car-themed Gala Dinner, a fundraiser event, professional judging for each car, and awards presented to the winners of each car class for historical vehicle accuracy, technical merit, and style, .
This year’s vehicle classes include Open Cars, Closed Cars, Prewar Cars, Postwar Cars, Sports Cars, and Muscle Cars.
The event will also include family-friendly activities; celebrity guests, among whom will be Super Bowl-winning Coach Dick Vermeil; a Car Corral open for local car enthusiasts to exhibit their classic cars; food and specialty vendors; and access to the Simeone Museum.

Special events will include a panel discussion among past Corvette racers, along with select current owners of iconic Corvettes and others whose connection with Corvettes goes deep. A Rally Across America tour in the morning to the Simeone Museum is also planned.
Corvette racing stars on the panel include Tony DeLorenzo, who raced the Owens-Corning L88 Corvettes in the ‘60s and ‘70s, and George Wintersteen, who successfully campaigned the #002 Corvette Grand Sport Roadster in 1966. This car resides in the Simeone Museum.
Historian Harry Hurst will M.C. the discussion, and additional panelists will be announced soon.

Preview Gala Dinner
This year we will not be having a Preview Gala Dinner due to COVID-19. Philadelphia Concours d’Elegance Preview Gala is held at the Simeone Museum. The evening includes cocktails, dinner, Concours preview, silent auction and celebrity keynote. Preview Gala individual tickets, $150, include admission to Saturday’s Philadelphia Concours d’Elegance; and tables for eight guests are available for $1000. All proceeds from the evening benefit CHOP.

Join us for a socially distanced, fun, and philanthropic car tour through the Chester County, Pennsylvania, countryside to help raise funds for cool cars for kids, a non-profit spreading awareness for children born with rare genetic diagnoses and birth defects.
