(Updated July 18, 2023) – Mecum Auction, the world’s largest collector car auction company, is gearing up to present an extraordinary event in Harrisburg, PA, from July 26-29, 2023. This is your golden opportunity to witness the sale of over 1200 collector cars, ranging from vintage classics to modern exotics.
The auction will take place at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center, where an array of pristine collector cars will cross the auctioneer’s gavel. The lineup includes vintage cars, classic cars, exotic & supercars, luxury cars, muscle cars, hot rods, pickup trucks, brass-era cars, and motorcycles.
This 1963 Chevrolet Nova Convertible and this 1967 Ford Mustang GT Convertible are two American Muscle vehicles that will be auctioned off in Harrisburg.
Five unique car collections are for sale this year: the American Muscle Car Collection, The Klairmont Kollection of Chicago, The Imperial Car Boathouse Collection, and The North Lakes Private Mustang and Ford Collection. A good portion of the car collections will be sold at No Reserve.

LAST YEARS HARRISBURG SUMMARY RESULTS
Mecum’s momentum started with the highest-grossing collector car auction ever held in Kissimmee, Florida, in January and continued with the recent Harrisburg, Pennsylvania auction, held from July 27-30.
The Harrisburg event saw a staggering $40 million in overall sales, marking a nearly 30% increase over the 2019 Harrisburg record of $31 million. The four-day event was a magnet for car enthusiasts, with massive crowds and an impressive 81% sell-through rate, resulting in 863 vehicles sold.
The auction was topped by a 2021 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Black Series (Lot S168.1), which fetched a hefty $473,000. It was closely followed by a 1985 Lamborghini Countach LP5000S (Lot S130.1) at $467,500. A 14-mile 1977 Pontiac Trans Am SE (Lot S132.1) also made waves, securing the third-highest sale price at $440,000.

Corvettes dominated the top 10 sellers list, claiming six spots. The highest-selling Corvette was a 1953 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster (Lot S105.1), which sold for $407,000. Other notable Corvettes included two convertibles from 1967 and 1958 (Lot S155 and S103.1), two 2019 ZR1 coupes (Lot S200 and F122.1), and a 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split Window Coupe (Lot S57).
Rounding out the top 10 was a 1968 Shelby GT500KR Convertible (Lot S163.1), which sold for $236,500.
As you can see, the past auction results underscore Mecum Auctions’ continued success and the growing interest in collector cars. This year’s Harrisburg Auction 2023 should be just as impressive.
The Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center, formerly known as the State Farm Show Arena, will host the auction. The Farm Show Complex is a massive +1,300,000 square foot facility spread across 60 acres. The facility provides food, beverages, restrooms, and ample parking.

Parking at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex is $15.00 per day, with a free shuttle service to the entrances.
Where can I find handicapped parking?
Handicapped parking is available at all Farm Show Complex lots. Individuals can also be dropped off in the Cameron Street Lobby’s circle for a shorter walk to the show!
