The theme for the 2024 EyesOn Design Car Show at Ford House is ‘Design Masters: A Lifetime of Design Achievement’.
The show will feature vehicles from designers who have received the EyesOn Design Lifetime Design Achievement Award over the past 39 years.
This award is given annually to individuals who have significantly impacted automotive design and is decided by previous recipients.

Venue: The Edsel and Eleanor Ford House
The 87-acre waterfront Edsel and Eleanor Ford Estate is located on Lake St. Clair ( Ford’s Cove) in Grosse Pointe Shores, northeast of Detroit, Michigan. Edsel Ford was the son of Henry Ford and an executive at Ford Motor Company. The estate’s buildings were designed by architect Albert Kahn, and its site plan, and gardens were designed by renowned landscape designer Jens Jensen. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2016.
The 20,000-square-foot estate includes a man-made waterfront lagoon, a swimming pool with changing rooms for people, a squash court, and a children’s playhouse. Edsel Ford died in this house in 1943, and his wife Eleanor Ford lived there until she died in 1976.
It was her wish that the property be used for “the benefit of the public”. Today, the museum estate is open for events and tours. The historic estate is located at 1100 Lake Shore Drive in Grosse Pointe Shores, northeast of Detroit, Michigan.
