One of the rare Concours to focus on automotive design, rather than collectibility, is the “Eyes on Design” Concours that takes place at the historic Eleanor Ford House Estate each year.

Started in 1986, this year the event will take place at 10-4pm on September 19, 2021.
Each year the Eyes on Design event attracts thousands of car enthusiasts and club members from the transportation and automotive design community to celebrate and reflect on over 100 years of automotive design history.
Vehicles on display at the show are chosen based on the year’s theme, are by invitation only, and feature between 200 and 300 vehicles.
The event takes place on the majestic waterfront lawns of the 85-acre Estate of Edsel and Eleanor Ford Estate in Grosse Pointe Michigan.
The Ford Estate was designed by famed architect Albert Kahn, and the 85-acres lawns and gardens were designed by renowned landscape designer Jens Jensen. The 1928 Estate was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2016.
Eyes On Design receives much of its financial support from both domestic and foreign vehicle manufacturers, as well as national automotive suppliers and other local companies.
Judging the cars is facilitated by active and retired exterior and interior automotive designers from global automotive and supplier companies.
