A One-Of-A-Kind Ferrari “Concorso d’Eleganza” Opens In Enzo Ferrari’s Hometown At The Casa Maria Luigia (May 12-14, 2023)
May 14 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
(Modena, Italy: March 19, 2023) — The Concorso d’Eleganza is a three-day celebration of vintage Ferrari automobiles take will take place from May 12–14, 2023, at the five-star Casa Maria Luigia Inn in Modena, Italy.
The Casa Maria Luigia is a luxurious twelve-room 18th-century villa surrounded by private gardens located in the Emilia countryside which is just a stone’s throw away from Modena, Italy, where in 1947, Enzo Ferrari created the first Ferrari – a Ferrari 125 S.
The Concorso d’Eleganza (Modena) is the Italian version of the Palm Beach “Cavallino Classic Annual Ferrari Show” which has long been considered the world’s most exclusive Ferrari event. The Concorso d’Eleganza was created in 2021 by Luigi Orlandini, President and CEO of Canossa Events, which in 2020 took over as organizer of the Cavallino Classic. (Source: cavallino.com)
The Concorso D’eleganza Modena will take place at Casa Maria Luigia, which has been privatized for the event and is open to Concorso guests and Concorso entrants.
The Concorso will feature only a small number of cars (±25) cars that were hand-picked for their historical significance, rarity, and beauty. All the cars chosen are some of the most important Ferraris ever built.
For example, last year, the exhibition field displayed Ferrari’s first-generation production cars, consisting of a rare 1959 250 Interim (chassis #1461 GT), an extremely rare 2001 550 Maranello WSR (only 33 built), and a handful of infamous 250s, 275s, and GTOs.
Beyond Ferrari production cars, the competition category included a competition Ferrari Berlinetta, a 1999 F360 Challenge, a 2007 F430 GT, and a 2008 F430 GT3. All the competition cars are some of the most sought-after series numbers on the Ferrari collector circuit.
This year, the Concorso d’Eleganza will feature the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Ferraris on display will include historically significant Ferrari race cars that have competed in the past 24 Hours of Le Mans racing events.
**Cars that raced on the “Circuit de la Sarthe” racing event are welcome!
