At Ultimate Garages Naples, the cars bring collectors together, but the friendships, charitable events, and shared passion for automobiles give them reasons to stay. From Ferraris and Porsches to American classics and muscle cars, the club welcomes enthusiasts who enjoy talking about their collections as much as driving them.
In Naples, Florida, Ultimate Garages combines private collector spaces, luxury vehicle storage, automotive art, and an active calendar of social gatherings. A Cars and Coffee meetup might lead to a conversation about a restoration, a charity rally, or the next great road trip.
There’s a practical side to the experience, too. Hurricane-rated construction and elevated, climate-controlled storage address an important concern for collectors in coastal Southwest Florida: protecting valuable vehicles during storm season.
A Car Collector Community Built Around Events
That emphasis on community is evident in the club’s calendar. Ultimate Garages has promoted Cars and Coffee in the Courtyard, members-only drive-in movie nights, Formula 1 simulator time trials, wine-tasting gatherings, track experiences, and afterparties associated with Naples automotive events. Some gatherings are private, while others have been advertised as open to the public. Event dates, access, and availability should be confirmed directly with the facility.
The charitable side of the program is just as notable. Ultimate Garages has publicized events supporting Make-A-Wish Southern Florida, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast, the Salvation Army, and Camelot Community Care, among other organizations. Events such as Rally for Wishes, Rally for Littles, and the Change a Lifetime Car Show connect collector-car enthusiasm with community fundraising.
For owners and members, the events make a garage visit about more than collecting keys or checking on a car. They create opportunities to meet fellow enthusiasts, trade stories, and support causes beyond the automotive world.
Inside Ultimate Garages Naples, an individually styled collector space brings together display, entertainment, and automotive-inspired furnishings.
Founder Jim Buonavolonta’s Vision for Ultimate Garages
Jim Buonavolonta, M.D., Ultimate Garages’ founder, president, and CEO, is both a cardiologist and a longtime automotive enthusiast. His interest in performance cars evolved from early admiration of a neighbor’s Ferrari 308 GTB to ownership of cars including an Acura NSX, Lotus Esprit Turbo, Ferraris, and Porsches.
Buonavolonta’s background includes driving on circuits such as Sebring, Daytona, and Circuit of the Americas. He also competed in the 2022 Ferrari Challenge North America series. His time behind the wheel helps explain the vision behind Ultimate Garages: a place where the ownership experience extends well beyond storing a car.
The Ultimate Garages team also includes James Buonavolonta Jr., identified by the company as a managing member, and vehicle and operations manager Tyler “Ty” De Bo. Together, the team helps connect day-to-day vehicle care with the relationships that give the club its personality.
The Gallery Adds an Automotive Art Experience
That collector spirit extends beyond the vehicles themselves. The Gallery at Ultimate Garages features automotive-inspired paintings, fine-art photography, glasswork, and related pieces. The program extends beyond the facility itself, with artwork presented at locations including Porsche Naples, Porsche Studio Naples, Ferrari of Naples, and the Inn on Fifth.
The artwork adds another dimension to club life, connecting the design of the automobiles with the creativity they inspire. Visitors interested in viewing the collection should arrange access in advance.
Hurricane-Rated Construction and Climate-Controlled Car Storage
For collectors keeping valuable vehicles in a coastal region, the building itself matters. Ultimate Garages describes its property as a three-story concrete-and-steel, hurricane-rated facility with storage areas approximately 30 feet above sea level.
According to the company’s storage information, protective measures include climate control, daily dehumidification checks, fire-suppression systems, 24-hour video monitoring, trickle-charging outlets, and vehicle checks. The company also advertises monthly, annual, and emergency storage arrangements, along with options for purchasing storage space.
Ultimate Garages reports that all vehicles stored at its facility during Hurricane Ian remained safe, without structural or water damage. That is the company’s account of its experience during the storm, not a guarantee against every future hurricane or flood. No building can be considered completely hurricane-proof.
New 30 ABOVE Storage Offers Elevated Vehicle Protection
Building on that emphasis on preparedness, one of the company’s newer offerings is 30 ABOVE, a storage concept promoted for owners of exotic, luxury, and collector vehicles who want added protection from coastal flooding. Ultimate Garages describes the offering as Category 5 hurricane-rated, climate-controlled, and fully managed, with space approximately 30 feet above flood elevation.
The company advertises vehicle pickup and return from owners’ residences, including assistance before storms, as well as Naples Airport pickup and delivery. Full-time staff are available to manage vehicles, and the concept includes a social room where owners can gather and arrange escorted visits to their collections.
The pickup and delivery services may be especially useful for seasonal residents and collectors with more vehicles than their home garages can accommodate. Prospective customers should confirm elevation, ownership terms, insurance provisions, and current availability directly with Ultimate Garages.
Private Garage Spaces and Collector Services
Ultimate Garages has been described as a roughly 58,000-square-foot, three-story automotive facility offering a mix of collector-oriented spaces and managed vehicle storage. The property has been associated with individually customized garage suites featuring lounges, lofts, kitchens, bathrooms, car lifts, and display areas. Garage configurations, permitted uses, and current purchase or lease opportunities should be verified with management.
The managed-storage program also includes vehicle monitoring and battery care, with arrangements to help keep cars ready for owners returning to Naples.
Ultimate Garages and the Growth of Naples-Area Car Condo Clubs
Ultimate Garages operates within a growing Southwest Florida automotive real estate scene. Naples and nearby communities are attracting new projects that combine private garage ownership, secure vehicle storage, and collector-oriented amenities. These developments reflect continuing interest in automotive property, although announced projects should not be counted as completed clubs.
One example is Naples Auto Vault, a private garage-condominium development by The Lutgert Companies. The developer reported that vertical construction began in January 2026, with 23 auto and storage condominiums planned and first-phase completion targeted for the first quarter of 2027.
Another is the proposed 5th Avenue Car Club on Bayshore Drive. Its current plans combine customizable car condominiums with an automated multi-level vehicle storage system; the project’s website advertises a 2028 delivery target. The scope and timing of proposed developments may change.
Ultimate Garages offers a useful contrast to these proposed developments: it already has an established facility and a documented calendar of collector gatherings and charitable events. The broader Naples market shows interest in both private automotive real estate and the community that can grow around it.
Recognition and Local Automotive Connections
Ultimate Garages’ website reports that it received a 2026 Best of the Gulfshore distinction for Luxury Vehicle Storage Facility. The recognition adds a local point of distinction for the facility.
Its location near Airport Road and Davis Boulevard, behind the Porsche Naples dealership, also places it close to Naples Airport and the restaurants and galleries of Fifth Avenue South. For seasonal residents, that location can simplify visits and vehicle pickup arrangements.
A fundraising gathering at Ultimate Garages Naples reflects the club’s emphasis on bringing car collectors together while supporting community causes.

Why Ultimate Garages Stands Out
Ultimate Garages Naples shows how an automotive facility can become a destination in its own right. For some collectors, the draw is knowing their vehicles are cared for; for others, it is the next gathering, charity drive, or chance to spend an afternoon with people who share their interests. The strongest appeal is having both in one place.
As new garage-condo developments take shape in Southwest Florida, Ultimate Garages offers an established example of how a collector community can develop its own identity through events, relationships, and experiences built around the cars.
