Worldwide Auction and the Enthusiast Tour are scheduled to take place in Auburn, Indiana, from April 23–26, 2024. This year’s auction promises to showcase a vintage collection of high-quality classic cars.

The two-day car tour will include several exhilarating multi-car drives with fellow car enthusiasts throughout the great state of Indiana, combined with several pit stops and experiences at several iconic destinations.

Car Tour Member Quote From 2023: ‘We toured another private, invitation-only collection that comprised every Indy 500 Corvette pace car and a 2005 Ford GT, and then we ate lunch at Joseph Decuis, known countrywide for its award-winning Wagyu beef and sides.”

Following the tour is a world-class auction that will feature automotive memorabilia and 90 collector cars, including a 1936 Delahaye 135M Competition Court Cabriolet that fetched $1,160,000 in 2024.

THE CLASSIC CAR TOUR

The second annual Enthusiast Tour and Auction, a unique collector car event tailored for the Midwest, occurred from April 19 to April 23, 2022, in Indiana. Like its inaugural year, the tour welcomed an array of participants, featuring vehicles such as a 1931 Duesenberg Model J Arlington Sedan, a 1960 Porsche 356B Roadster, a 1980 Toyota Celica GT, a 1964 GTO, an Aston Martin DB7, a one-of-a-kind Roush Mustang, among others.

2021 marked the inaugural year of The Enthusiast Tour, a distinctive collector car event designed for the Midwest. The event kicked off with a Tuesday evening dinner at our 200,000-square-foot headquarters in Auburn, Indiana, followed by the tour from Wednesday to Friday, leading up to the Enthusiast Auction on Saturday.

Worldwide Auctioneers Auction Presents The 2nd Annual Car Tour and Classic Car Auction From April 23-26

The adventure began with an exclusive tour of Larry Gerig’s Car and Corvette collection. Lunch at Joseph Decuis was next, famed for its award-winning Wagyu beef.

Post-lunch, enjoy access to a private collection showcasing every Indy 500 Corvette pace car, a 2005 Ford GT, and several prototype Ford vehicles, housed in a personal “town” complete with a movie theater and diner. “The day concluded with a dinner in a multi-level car collection, navigated by an in-house car elevator.

Day two began with breakfast at our headquarters before heading to the Brenspeed Performance shop. Renowned as a leading supplier and installer of Ford performance parts in the U.S., Brenspeed provided us with a private tour of their facilities.

Lunch was enjoyed at the Boathouse Restaurant, which boasts scenic views of Winona Lake. Our journey then continued along the lakeshore and through Indiana’s countryside, leading to DeBrand Fine Chocolates.

Per Worldwide: “Before the spring Enthusiast Auction, we visited a distinguished pre- and post-war private car collection for breakfast. Then we indulged in a privatebehind-the-scenes yummy tour and sampled Indianas best exquisite chocolates”.

Afterward, the evening featured a catered dinner in Auburn, Indiana, with Greg Riley recounting “one of the most amazing classic car stories” involving the mysterious loss of multiple Model J Duesenbergs by one of the nation’s wealthiest families.’

The tour culminated with the second annual spring Enthusiast Auction in Auburn, where 66 collector cars were auctioned, including a 1930 Cadillac Series 452 V-16 Roadster that garnered $758,500.

The subsequent day took us through Indiana’s countryside to South Bend for a private tour of an award-winning collection, primarily of pre-war classics, featuring over 50 vehicles, many of which had been recognized at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

“After dining at a local restaurant, we explored LaVine Restorations, known for their award-winning restorations of concours-level vehicles. The day wrapped up with an exclusive dinner at the Barns of Nappanee.”

The spring Enthusiast Auction concluded the tour, with 65 collector cars auctioned, including the 1936 Deco Rides “Maharaja Special” Custom, which sold for $346,000.”
