The Lime Rock Sunday In The Park Concours d’Elegance will take place during Labor Day weekend at the Lime Rock Historic Festival in Lakeville, CT, on Sunday, September 4, 2022. Sunday’s event, officially called “Sunday in the Park“, includes two significant mega car show events.

Both events happen on September 4 at the Lime Rock Park Race Track. The first is the “Lime Rock Concours d’Elegance ” and the second is the “Gathering of the Marques”. Both are massive car shows, but each encompasses a different classic car theme.

Lime Rock Concours d’Elegance Schedule
First, The “Lime Rock Concours d’Elegance” is an officially scheduled Concours featuring over 200 historically significant cars and motorcycles from 1901 to the present. This year the show will include special car classes that include Production Corvettes up to C7, Race and Production Trans Am Circuit Racers, and Detroit Steel Cars of the 1950s.

Additional classes on display will include Porsche Outlaws, Carrozzeria Pininfarina Car, and a variety of super magnificent Supercars. Traditional cars include best-of-the-best pre-war and post-war American cars, European Classic Cars, and Exotic high-performance race cars. Judging and awards will be presented for the best cars in each class.

When & Where is the Lime Rock Concours d’Elegance?
You will be able to attend the 2022 Lime Rock Concours d’Elegance on Sunday, September 4 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. at the Lime Rock Park Race Track on the “Sam Posey Straight” part of the track. “Gathering of the Marques” Schedule
Secondly, the “Gathering of the Marques” is similar to the Concours, but there is no judging or awards. The over 600 unique cars that will be on display are much more diverse, less award-winning, and are supplied by many car collectors and car clubs from around the county. Car classes that are typically on display will be sports, performance, and classic cars. The cars will be grouped by brand, make, model, or country of origin and on display throughout the lawns of the Lime Rock Track Park.

When & Where is the Lime Gathering of the Marquis?
You will be able to view the Gathering of the Marquis on Sunday, September 4 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The cars will be on display around the Lime Rock Circuit Race track but in a different area than the above Concours. Some of the American marques you will be able to see at the “Gathering of the Marques” include both new and vintage Corvettes, Shelbys, Mercurys, Mustangs, Cadillacs, Mopars, and so on …… From across the pond, some European cars on display from Porsche, BMW, Jaguars, Mercedes, and Lamborghini, etc… (Official Website)

Judged Concours Car Classes
This year’s judged classes will include Trans-Am, Jaguar E-Type, Pininfarina Cars, Porsche 356 & 911, and new crazy Supercars. From the homeland is Production Corvettes including C1-C3/C4-C7, 1950 Vintage Competition Race Car, and saving the best for last, American Made Fins & Chrome from the 1950s

Special Judged Concours Car Classes
The special car classes that will be judged at the Concours include European madePrewar & Postwar, American-made Prewar & Postwar as well the vintage Preservation Classes, Motorcycles, and Racing Awards
