The London auction will also include a 953 Ferrari 166 MM/53 Spider, a 1952 Land Rover Series, and a 1911 Rolls-Royce 40/50 HP Silver Ghost Tourer.
HOW TO BID
Surrounded by gorgeous gardens and famous features such as the Maze and the Great Vine, the palace has been the setting for many nationally important events. When William III and Mary II (1689-1702) took the throne in 1689, they commissioned Sir Christopher Wren to build an elegant new baroque palace.
The auction will take place within the Concours of Elegance event, hosted within The Great Fountain Garden at Hampton Court Palace.
Guests wishing to bid or view the auction in person will need to secure ticketed entry to the Concours for themselves and any guests at the Concours ticketing website.
If you’re interested in attending the auction, you can view all the lots available for auction at Base Court and Clock Court at Hampton Court Palace on Friday, 31 August from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM BST and on Saturday, 1 September from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM BST. ABOUT THE HAMPTON PALACE (THE VENUE)
The Great Fountain Garden, nestled within Hampton Court Palace, stands as a captivating piece of history in London, England. With origins dating back to the early 16th century, the palace was initially commissioned by Cardinal Thomas Wolsey.
However, it was soon claimed by King Henry VIII, becoming an enduring symbol of regal heritage. Today, both the palace and its splendid gardens have transformed into a beloved hotspot for tourists and visitors.

Entry with tickets to the viewing is open to the public at the West entrance ticket office of the Palace. Tickets can also be purchased in advance through the Palace’s website.

The auction is set to occur as part of the Concours of Elegance event, held at The Great Fountain Garden in Hampton Court Palace.

With a ticket for the Concours on 1 September, you’ll also have access to view the auction lots at Base Court and Clock Court.
The Concours of Elegance (Classic Car Show) at Hampton Court Palace brings together a selection of 60 of the rarest cars from around the world – many of which will never have been seen before in the UK.The Concours Of Elegance London takes place September 1-3, 2023.
In addition to the cars on display, the Concours of Elegance also features a number of other events, such as a Concours d’Elegance for pre-war cars, a car show for modern classics, and a live auction.The Concours of Elegance is a must-attend event for any classic car enthusiast. It is a celebration of the beauty and engineering of some of the world’s most iconic cars.
