The Geneva Concours d’Elegance Is The Most Underrated Car Show Just Outside Chicago

Since 2005, the Geneva Concours d’Elegance has been a unique opportunity to come face-to-face with hundreds of the most historically significant vehicles ever made. This year the event promises to host over 2,000 car-loving guests in Geneva, Illinois-just 32 miles west of Chicago-on August 28, 2022.
The Concours features over 200 rare vehicles dating from 1900 through the 1960s. Moreover, the show features both new and vintage supercars and exotics. More specifically, over 50 new and vintage Ferraris will be on display.

Class marques to be featured this year include the 100th Anniversary Springfield Rolls Royce and Edsel Ford’s Dream Car, the Ford Continental. Additional marques include “Cars of the Classic Era”, “Micro Cars”, and the “Tuner Cars” from the Fast and Furious movies.
Sunday’s Concours will include awards for the vehicles that stand out in their respective classes. The show ends with awards presented to vehicle owners for the “Best-of-Show” award and the coveted “Benz” trophy.
The Concours d’Elegance Car Show takes place in the heart of Geneva’s historic downtown shopping district, which offers friendly retail shops, restaurants, dining, and historical buildings.

The Geneva Concours d’Elegance starts Sunday, August 28, 2022, and is open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Tickets are FREE Admission. The show cars will be lined up on both sides of the street on Third Street from State to South Street.
