Mecum Monterey will auction over 600 classic and vintage cars during Monterey Car Week and broadcast the event live over the MotorTrend Broadcast Network from August 13-15, 2026.
This year’s auction will feature eight private car collections as well as hundreds of carefully curated vintage muscle cars, high-end supercars, exotic cars, rare sports cars, pre-war classic cars, and classic motorcycles.
The Mecum Auction Monterey will take place over three days at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel from August 13-15, 2026. Tickets for the auction are open to everyone and are now on sale on the Mecum website for $20 in advance online, or $30 at the gate.
New this year, Mecum will feature an innovative, first-of-its-kind tech-focused automotive event called The Monterey Motorsports Festival (MMF). The event promises to captivate automotive enthusiasts through new immersive and engaging experiences. The MMF will take place all day (11 am-10pm) on August 15th, 2026. Top Five Featured Cars
- 2026 Aston Martin Valhalla (Lot R45 – From the Milton Verret Collection): Finished in Gloss Exposed Carbon Fiber over a Nero Alcantara interior. Powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0L 1,064 HP hybrid V-8 paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. Showing 196 miles on the odometer (Chassis #014), this hypercar features Formula 1-derived active aerodynamics, top-exit exhaust pipes, dihedral doors, and a carbon-fiber monocoque.
- 2005 Porsche Carrera GT (Lot R38 – From the Milton Verret Collection): Refinished in bespoke PPG Rosso Fuoco (Fire Red) over Black leather (VIN: WP0CA29805L001248). Driven 3,471 miles, it houses a mid-mounted 5.7L 603 HP V-10 mated to a 6-speed manual transmission with a beechwood shift knob. One of 644 US-market units, it includes carbon-ceramic brakes, forged magnesium wheels, and a carbon-fiber tub stripped and repainted to concours standards.
- 2017 Ferrari F12tdf (Lot R16 – The Tricolore Scuderia Collection): Finished in Bianco Avus with factory-painted Italian Tricolore racing stripes over Nero Alcantara. Powered by a front-mid 6.3L 769 HP naturally aspirated V-12 and a 7-speed dual-clutch paddle-shift transmission. Showing just 89 miles, this 1-of-799 example was customized through Ferrari’s Extra Campionario program and features Virtual Short Wheelbase rear-wheel steering and Giallo Modena calipers.
- 1957 Kuzma Offenhauser Indy Car (Lot R23 – The John Davis “Too Much Fun” Collection): Dressed in historic Dean Van Lines White and Gold #12 competition livery (Chassis #KUZ-57-01). Equipped with a 255 CI (4.2L) Offenhauser DOHC inline-4 engine mated to a 2-speed manual racing transmission. Provenance includes competing in the 1957 Indianapolis 500, featuring a tubular spaceframe, Halibrand knock-off magnesium wheels, and Hilborn mechanical fuel injection.
- 2025 BRABUS Porsche Turbo S 900R Masterpiece Cabriolet (Lot R37 – From the Milton Verret Collection): Finished in BRABUS Shadow Black with carbon accents over a hand-stitched leather cabin. Driven by a twin-turbocharged 3.8L 900 HP flat-6 connected to an 8-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. Showing 161 miles, it is 1 of only 2 US-delivered examples crafted in Bottrop, Germany, equipped with BRABUS Widestar carbon bodywork, active titanium exhaust, and Monoblock Z wheels.
