About the Car Condo Club

“It was a solution to our own needs that we built the first units and that’s why it been more than just a business for us,” says Jerry and Nick Deutsch – father and son team and owners.

Jerry is from Phoenix, Arizona, where his father-Nick’s grandpa-started a small second-hand furniture and appliance store out of their family’s garage. Soon he needed more space and built a small building, which he subsequently expanded a half-dozen times.

Jerry owned and operated Reliable Furniture Company from 1974, when he purchased the single store from his parents, until 1999, when he retired after building stores across Phoenix and operating the largest independent furniture business in Arizona.

Jerry raised Nick in the business and taught him the value of hard work as well as the importance of owning real estate. After graduating from the University of Texas School of Law and building a successful law practice in Houston, Nick soon found himself with a familiar problem: “He needed more space”, says Jerry.

Finding few options that would satisfy his own needs, Nick called his dad and presented a novel idea: “A community of personal warehouses for enthusiasts of all kinds. Nick is proud to have worked with his dad and a few good friends to make Garage Ultimate a reality.

When they aren’t working, Jerry and Nick both enjoy long drives and spending time with their families. Jerry and his wife, Mimi, can often be found driving the open roads of Southwest Texas. While Jerry is passionate about exotic supercars, Nick collects and appreciates the older vintage and classic cars. His favorite car is a 1960 Corvette.
