Palm Beach Driving Club™ (PBDC) is a members-only club offering weekly, year-round track programs to automotive enthusiasts exclusively at Palm Beach International Raceway™ (PBIR). With four distinct levels of membership, the Club allows each driver to tailor the program to fit their lifestyle.
The PBDC car club offers regularly scheduled events, venues, charity events and car themed celebrations for both the public and it’s members.
The club’s membership is made up of drivers of all levels of experience with a desire for practice sessions under the guidance of Resident Pro Shane Lewis whose numerous victories include prestigious races in the American Le Mans Series, the European Le Mans Series, the Rolex Sports Car Series, 24 Hours and 6 Hours of Nürburgring, and the SCCA World Challenge.
Shane Lewis has been racing since 1989 and is widely considered one of motorsports’ leading race and development drivers. His impressive resume includes race victories in championships throughout the world including the American Le Mans Series, the European Le Mans Series, the Rolex Sports Car Series, SCCA World Challenge, Continental Challenge, VLN and the World 24hr Series. In 2013, Shane claimed victories in the prestigious Rolex 24 at Daytona and the Dunlop 24H Dubai.
PBDC operates as an affiliate of PBIR and is part of the IRG Sports + Entertainment™ (IRG) family of companies. Closed to the public.
Pro Winter Warm-Up Starts March 2, 2021
Palm Beach International Raceway will host the Pro Winter Warm-Up for the first time since 2015 featuring ground-pounding NHRA Drag Racing Series Top Fuel Dragsters and Nitro Funny Cars. Over a dozen of the top professional NHRA teams, including nine current or former world champions, head to PBIR this weekend, March 5-7.
NHRA teams will use the test session, which is open to the public with limited tickets available each day, to prepare for their 2021 season-opening event in Gainesville, Florida.
NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series teams* scheduled to participate in the March 5-7 pre-season test session include:
- Don Schumacher Racing (Ron Capps, Antron Brown, Leah Pruett and Matt Hagan)
- John Force Racing (John Force, Robert Hight and Brittany Force)
- Kalitta Motorsports (Doug Kalitta, J.R. Todd and Shawn Langdon)
- Torrence Racing (Steve Torrence, Billy Torrence)
Along with Cruz Pedregon Racing (Cruz Pedregon); Alexis DeJoria/Del Worsham (Alexis DeJoria); Justin Ashley Racing (Justin Ashley); Scrappers Racing (Mike Salinas); Tasca Racing (Bob Tasca III); Paul Lee Racing (Paul Lee); and Head Racing / Blake Alexander Racing (Blake Alexander).
This is the only South Florida appearance for the stars and cars of the NHRA Drag Racing Series.
ADMISSION: Adult General Admission Tickets are $25 Friday, $35 Saturday, and $35 Sunday. A Saturday/Sunday Combo ticket is $60. Children 12 and under are free. Parking is $10.
ACCESS: Every ticket is a pit pass giving you unparalleled access to the teams and drivers. This family-friendly three-day test session provides guests the opportunity to get up close to the top teams in the NHRA.

DRAG STRIP
This is where the Palm Beach International Raceway tradition began. The proving ground for hardcore hotrodders – Drag Racing. Whether it was way back then or right here and now, one thing holds true – go fast or you go home.
PBIR’s famous Drag Strip is a 1/4-mile, IHRA-sanctioned, all-concrete strip designed by Wayne McMurty and hosts various national, regional, and local events, including the IHRA SuperSeries, Citrus Nationals, Super Chevy Show, Dick Moroso 3-Day Bracket Race, and more.

From the South
Take I-95 (exit 79B) or FL Turnpike (exit 109) to PGA Blvd. Go west to SR 710 and turn right, go 8.2 miles.
From the North
Take I-95 (exit 87B) or FL Turnpike (exit 116) to Indiantown Rd (SR706) go west to SR710 turn left, go 3 miles.
From the Naples/Ft. Myers area
Take I-75 south to the Turnpike, take the Turnpike North to Exit 109 (PGA Blvd). Take PGA Blvd. West until it dead-ends (SR 710/Beeline Hwy), take a right, and continue for 8 miles.
