RM Sotheby’s auction will take place during the Amelia Island Concours at The Ritz Carlton on Saturday, May 22nd, 2021. The Auction starts promptly at 11:00 AM and ends later in the day when all the items are spoked for.  There is a short preview time on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM.

Cars can also be previewed on Thursday, May 20 (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM), Friday, May 21 (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM), and Saturday, May 22 (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM). All memorabilia can be viewed inside The Ritz-Carlton in the Ballroom according to the above schedule. Most all the cars are available roe preview at The Ritz-Carlton on the Front Lawn.

Last year’s auction total sales raised the bar again, as regards sell-through rate, percentage of cars sold within estimate range, and the number of lots sold above $1 million.

Since the inaugural Amelia Island auction in 1999, RM has been the principal sponsor and official auction house of the world-renowned Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance. This event honors a significant automobile’s personality each year and showcases unique and historic automobiles of all eras on the show field.

MEMORABILIA AUCTION

The RM Sotheby’s Memorabilia action with start with auctioning a “FAST COMPANY BY STANLEY WANLASS” Bronze; mounted on a marble base Inscribed “S. Wanlass 89” and numbered 21/40 dated 1989 priced at $6,500 – $8,500 (Offered Without Reserve)
United States | Amelia Island, Florida. This size is 21 × 11 × 9 in..

The action will also include LOT #102 for a “Pur Sang by Stanley Wanlass”, (1992) priced at $8,000 – $12,000, LOT #103 a “Rolls-Royce “Spirit of Ecstasy” Showroom Bronze” in the style of Charles Sykes priced at $15,000 – $20,000 and LOT #104 for a” New York to Paris by Stanley Wanlass”, (1982) priced at $8,000 – $12,00. All lots are Offered Without Reserve.

Two other notable items for sale at the auction are LOT #105 for the Bentley “Flying B” Mascot Collection priced at $30,000 – $40,000 and LOT #106 is a “High Gear by Stanley Wanlass”, (1987) priced at $15,000 – $25,000 again without reserve.
