Molto Bella Car Show History
The Molto Bella Car Show was founded by longtime friends and car collectors, Frank Todaro and David Nelson. When the local “Glenmoor Gathering Auto Show” was canceled nine years ago, the two friends saw an opportunity to create something new. Drawing on tremendous local support, they launched the Molto Bella Car Show as a heartfelt tribute to Frank’s father and his passion for cars.
The event honors Frank’s late father, who passed away from kidney cancer several years ago. This personal loss inspired Frank to ensure that all proceeds from the show benefit the Summit County Kidney Foundation, a cause close to his heart.
More than just a traditional Concours d’Elegance, the Molto Bella Car Show goes beyond featuring cars solely based on rarity, authenticity, and condition. Instead, it highlights an eclectic mix of top-level “eyeball candy” collectibles—cars that may not meet Concours standards but are nonetheless some of the most sought-after and visually captivating vehicles in the world.
Co-Owner Frank explains, “It’s all about the kind of cars and the mix of cars we pick, not just Concours. Hot rods, touring cars, electric cars, movie cars, unique cars with unique histories are all part of the mix.” He continues, “Our music is also designed to get away from the Beach Boys stuff you normally hear at cruises,” he continues. “We have a great selection of the blues playing, cigars for people who enjoy smoking, great food and a professionally laid-out space for the cars. Finally, there is no judging. People love not to be judged. Your car is your trophy … what more could you possibly need?”

ABOUT THE VENUE
Hale Farm & Village features a collection of over 30 historic buildings, including homes, a church, a schoolhouse, and a blacksmith shop, all meticulously restored to illustrate the lives and trades of early American settlers. As a working farm, Hale Farm showcases period-appropriate farming techniques, with livestock such as sheep, pigs, and chickens contributing to the immersive experience.
Visitors can also witness traditional craftsmanship, with artisans demonstrating skills such as blacksmithing, glassblowing, candle making, and pottery, offering insights into the tools and techniques used during the 19th century. These demonstrations, combined with the farm’s agricultural focus, provide a rich educational experience that vividly brings rural life in early Ohio to life. (Source: https://ohio.org/)
