Majestically placed in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains will be one of the largest Ferrari car shows in the country. Called “The Automezzi”, this annual car event will play host to over 2,000 guests and over 150 Italian made cars and motorcycles. It all takes place at Anderson Park in Wheat Ridge, CO on Sunday, July 17th, 2022.

The event will showcase over 150 Italian vehicles including newer exotic Ferraris, older vintage Ferraris, a variety of vintage Italian motorcycles. Additional Italian Marques on dislay will be Maserati, Lamborghini, Fiat, Lancia, Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Vespa, and Alfa Romeo – just to name a few.

This year’s even will be fun for both friends, family, and Ferrari lovers.

On Sunday, the event will include a Concours-Style car show which includes vehicle awards and trophies, live entertainment, food and libations, and a few surprises and guest speakers.

The concours type car show includes judging, voting, and an award presentation for the most outstanding vehicles.

Two honors will receive the “Best in Show” Award, and the coveted “Director’s Cup” Award. The Director’s Cup (which is a traveling award) is selected and presented by the previous year’s Show Director Award Winner.

Last years Automezzi XXXI (2021) ‘Best in Show’ winner was Kurt Brakhage with 1964 Apollo. The Director’s Cup Winner was a 2003 Ferrari Enzo.

Presenting the awards this year will be Sponsor Ferrari of Denver.

The word Automezzi is a variation of the word automezzo which means “motor vehicle” in Italian.

Event Highlights & Host

This year’s award-winning media personality and Automezzi Emcee Tom Mustin will host the event.

The event will be flooded with Live Music from the Flatirons Jazz Orchestra.

Additionally,  a delicious breakfast and lunch menu will be available. Food favorites include wood-fired pizza, made-to-order veggie bowls, hot dogs, and hamburgers.

Lastly, for the grown-ups, the event promises a specialty libations bar serving beer, wine, and Italian specialty drinks. Specialty drinks include a Peach Bellini, Aperol Spritz, Italian Bloody Mary, plus Mimosa’s.

CHARITY BENEFACTOR
The Automezzi charity benefactor for 2022 is Caruso Family Charities.  The Caruso Family Charities is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to assisting families of a child, adolescent, or young adult who is being treated in Colorado for a life-threatening disease or life altering event. The Automezzi Community raised $20,000 for Caruso Family Charities last year.  Through the CFC Funding Families program, the mission is to relieve some financial pressures so the family may focus on caring for their sick child.
