A Game-Changer for Car Collectors: duPont REGISTRY and Pininfarina Unveil Miami’s Ultimate Luxury Tower

by | All Car Clubs, Car Luxury Rentals

The duPont REGISTRY Group, Fortune International Group, and legendary Italian design firm Pininfarina have announced plans for the duPont REGISTRY Tower, a luxury high-rise in Miami designed specifically for car collectors and automotive enthusiasts.

Planned for Miami’s Magic City Innovation District, near the Design District and Miami Beach, the tower will combine private automotive suites, vehicle elevators, an invitation-only automotive clubhouse, and luxury business facilities.

For collectors, the attraction is the opportunity to display and enjoy their prized automobiles in a private setting overlooking the Miami skyline, rather than keeping them hidden away in a conventional parking garage.

Antoine Tessier, CEO of duPont REGISTRY Group, described the project’s significance for the company’s automotive community:

“duPont REGISTRY has always been at the forefront of automotive luxury, and this project represents the next evolution of our brand.”

Tessier also emphasized the collaboration with Pininfarina and Fortune International Group, bringing together automotive design, engineering, and luxury real estate.

Private Car Condos Designed Around the Collection

One of the tower’s most interesting features is its collection of private automotive suites, designed to serve as both secure car storage and personalized entertainment spaces.

According to information provided to CarCollectorsClub.com by the developer, the suites can be customized around a collector’s individual collection, whether that includes classic Ferraris, vintage Porsches, American muscle cars, or modern exotic automobiles.

Much like traditional luxury car condos, collectors could create their own automotive retreats with custom flooring, display lighting, lounges, bars, large-screen televisions, racing simulators, and collections of automotive art and memorabilia.

Some may prefer a polished showroom for displaying rare collector cars, while others might design a comfortable private lounge where friends and fellow enthusiasts can gather around the collection.

Although the project describes private collector suites, the publicly announced materials do not establish whether individual suites will be sold as deeded condominium units, leased, or offered through another ownership or membership arrangement. Prospective buyers should confirm the final terms with the developer.

Private Car Elevators Bring Collector Cars Into the Tower

Perhaps the most distinctive feature of the duPont REGISTRY Tower is its planned private vehicle elevator system, allowing collectors to transport their automobiles directly to individual automotive suites.

Instead of leaving a valuable Ferrari, Lamborghini, or classic collector car in a traditional parking structure, collectors could bring their vehicles into private spaces designed specifically for displaying and enjoying them.

Once inside, collectors could arrange their collections using custom flooring, vehicle turntables, display platforms, and car lifts, depending on the final suite designs and available options.

The tower’s car elevators are central to the development’s concept, combining the convenience of private automotive storage with the experience of a luxury showroom above the streets of Miami.

Beyond automotive storage, the suites could incorporate entertainment areas, fully equipped kitchens, comfortable lounges, bars, pool tables, and racing simulators.

Additional custom amenities may include theater rooms, fitness areas, wine cellars, and private outdoor spaces, depending on the final suite design.

Pininfarina Brings Its Automotive Design Heritage to Miami

For serious car collectors, the Pininfarina name carries considerable history.

Founded in Italy in 1930, the design house is closely associated with some of the most celebrated Ferraris ever produced, including the 250 GT, 365 GTB/4 Daytona, Testarossa, and F40.

Its work extends beyond automobiles into architecture, yachts, industrial design, and luxury products, making the Miami tower a natural extension of its design heritage.

Pininfarina is responsible for the tower’s design, with DB Lewis serving as architect of record.

Fortune International Group, led by Edgardo Defortuna, brings decades of South Florida luxury real estate development experience to the partnership.

An Invitation-Only Clubhouse for Car Collectors

Beyond the private automotive suites, plans for the tower include an exclusive, invitation-only automotive clubhouse designed as a gathering place for collectors and enthusiasts.

The proposed clubhouse would offer private automotive display areas, an upscale lounge, a restaurant, and a spa, creating opportunities to socialize and entertain guests in a setting centered around a shared passion for automobiles.

The clubhouse is intended to bring together collectors who appreciate everything from vintage racing cars and classic European sports cars to modern supercars and limited-production hypercars.

The development also proposes premium office spaces and private meeting facilities for businesses involved in the luxury and automotive industries.

For collectors who combine their automotive interests with business, the tower could offer a convenient setting for meetings, networking, and private gatherings.
