DESCRIPTION:July 9\, 2021 (Updated) The largest car show to take place in South Bend Indiana called the Copshaholm Concours d’ Elegance will open promptly at 9:00 am on South July 10\, 2021. \nALSO SEE: 2022 Copshaholm Concours d’ Elegance \nFestivities include a +100 car show for vintage and classic vehicles\, all-day tours at the Copshaholm “Oliver” Mansion\, and a Burt Levy book signing at the museum store tent. Vehicle awards are presented at 2.30 pm and the Concours closes at 4 pm. \nThe Copshaholm Concours d’ Elegance is Co-sponsored and presented by LaVine Restorations & The JBS Collection. \nThe Studebaker National Museum is thrilled to host the Concours d’Elegance at the famous Copshaholm Estate in a garden-party setting that includes nearly 70 vehicles. For the first time\, the show will take place in South Bend\, Indiana\, and feature a variety of Indiana-produced vehicles. It will also feature some interesting new vehicle class names that are said to have a “Sense of Humor”. \nThis year the car show will be held at the Copshaholm Estate in the landscaped Italianate gardens of the 2.5 acres estate. The estate is a historic landmark and is on the National Record of Historic Places as a Registered American Treasure. \nThe main house\, with all its 14 fireplaces\, was designed by famed New York architect Charles Alonzo Rich and was built in 1895 by industrialist millionaire J.D. Oliver who was the president of the Oliver Chilled Plow Works for over four centuries. The estate is often referred to as the “Oliver Mansion” due to the Oliver Family living at the mansion for over 72 years. \nThe Copshaholm Concours d’ Elegance takes place at the Oliver Mansion Estate once owned by the industrialist millionaire J.D. Oliver \nThe elegant Romanesque Queen Anne mansion\, which is also open for public tours\, has over 38-rooms\, a vintage teahouse\, rose garden\, pergola\, tennis lawn\, fountains\, and more. The furniture is all original and interior furnishings include porcelains\, silver\, prints\, stained-glass\, bronze statutes\, including some items by Bartolozzi and Lorado Taft. \nBut on July 10\, 2021\, the Copshaholm Estate will be transformed into a vehicle playground and feature over 75 vintage\, antique\, classic automobiles and motorcycles. Some iconic vehicle classes will include American Muscle Cars\, American Sports Cars\, Over-The-Pond British Sports Cars\, Luxury Classic Cadillacs\, Vintage Coachbuilt Classics\, Fabulous Fins of the 50’s\, The Kickin’ Brass Era Cars\, and of course\, the Studebaker Muscle Cars. \nThe Copshaholm Estate will be transformed into a vehicle playground and feature over 75 vintage\, antique\, classic automobiles and motorcycles. \nSome famous historic American vehicles and Marques on display at the show will be Corvette\, Caddilac\, Buick\, Studebaker\, Kaiser-Darrin\, Muntz\, Kurtis\, Woodill\, and Nash-Healey. And\, If you want to drive on the other side of the road\, historic vehicles and Marques from the British empire that will be on display will be Austin-Healeys\, Jaguars\, MG’s\, Triumphs\, and other vintage English sports cars. \nThere will also be a good selection of Automobiles from the industry’s pre-1915 “Brass” Era\, American automobiles from the 1950s “tail fin” Era\, and automobiles featuring custom body and coachwork. \nFor all you two-wheelers\, there will be a variety of featured historic motorcycles on display from such makers as Harley-Davidson\, Indian\, Henderson\, The American Motorcycle Company\, to name a few. \nThe award-winning vehicles and motorcycles on display this year will be supplied by some of the top car collecting legends and museums in the world. They include The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum\, the Gilmore Car Museum\, America’s Packard Museum\, and the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum. \nConcours d’ Elegance at Copshaholm Award Ceremony \nDuring the event\, the public is free to stroll the grounds\, view all the vehicles\, and take a Copshaholm “Oliver” Mansion Tour. Also on display will be the Studebaker Styling Studio at the Studebaker National Museum which features the works of famous Studebaker designer Raymond Loewy. \n1940’s Studebaker Logo Designed by Raymond Loewy \nFamed industrial and car designer\, Raymond Loewy was instrumental in designing the Studabaker Starlight body which featured a rear-window that wrapped around the entire rear seat. Loewy also designed the Studebaker Avanti\, The Champion\, the Studebaker Logo\, and the ’53 Starliner which was recognized by Car and Driver as “one of the most beautiful cars ever made” . \nThe showgrounds open (July 10\, 2021) at 10 am and close and 5 pm the same day. DESCRIPTION:The Fourth Annual Philadelphia Concours d’Elegance will take place at the Simone Automotive Museum on July 17th\, 2021 to feature over 225 historic vehicles from several car collections. The Concours and car show will showcase an assembly of American and European classic and historic automobiles and vintage race cars. \nALSO SEE: 2022 Philadelphia Concours Starts June 25th\, 2022 \nThe day-long event will include a classic car-themed Gala Dinner\, a fundraiser event\, professional judging for each car\, and awards presented to the winners of each car class for historical vehicle accuracy\, technical merit\, and style\, . \nThis year’s vehicle classes include Open Cars\, Closed Cars\, Prewar Cars\, Postwar Cars\, Sports Cars\, and Muscle Cars. \nPhiladelphia Concours d’Elegance and Cool Cars for Kids has partnered with Hagerty to introduce their Youth Judging Program. \nThe event will also include family-friendly activities; celebrity guests\, among whom will be Super Bowl-winning Coach Dick Vermeil; a Car Corral open for local car enthusiasts to exhibit their classic cars; food and specialty vendors; and access to the Simeone Museum. \nNEXT: FEATURED CARS \nSpecial events will include a panel discussion among past Corvette racers\, along with select current owners of iconic Corvettes and others whose connection with Corvettes goes deep. DESCRIPTION:The Hillsborough Concours d’Elegance Car show is home to the longest-running automobile Concours in the world and is held each year in Burlingame\, California. This year’s car show and events is scheduled for July 17-18\, 2021  and will host over 225 classic\, vintage and antique automobiles\, and motorcycles\, to compete for awards and distinction. \nFor the past 65 years\, the Concours car show\, and three days of events\, will be held on the beautiful club fairways on the Crystal Springs Golf Course. The car show will host over 300 classic\, vintage\, and antique historic vehicles to compete in a Concours d’Elegance for awards and distinction.\n\nThis weekend\, July 23-25\, the events will include a Battle of the Brands sports car show\, a large Cars and Coffee free car show\, a Concours d’LeMons featuring unique vehicles\, a Hagerty Ride rally type drive\, and other public and private activities (See Schedule Below. It does this by providing complete unfettered access to both the owners\, their stories\, and their cars themselves.\n\nThis year\, car owners competing for awards will feature some historic rare and never-seen-before vehicle types. For instance\, on display at the event\, will be very relevant vehicles such as the antique and historic Gas Light–era vehicles of the early 1900s.\n\nOn Display on Sunday Will be Car Collections from Ken Lingenfelter Collection\, The Stahl Collection\, and Larry Smith Collection. \n\nAdditional vehicles in the spotlight at the show will be the Ferrari Monza\, Radwood Class Drag Cars\, and brand-new Super Cars\, and Hyper Cars. Beyond that\, there will be featured lectures on the influence of Muscle Cars from 1970-1971 and the famous “Black Ghost”. The Black Ghost is a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T SE and one of the most feared muscle cars of the ’70s.\n\nOn Sunday\, three top car collections will be for viewing from Ken Lingenfelter Collection\, The Stahl Collection\, and Larry Smith Collection.\n\nThe Concours car show and all events will take place on the beautiful grassy grounds of the Inn of the St. Johns in Plymouth Michigan.
