Built for the ultimate car collector\, the show takes place in Littleton Colorado on September 12\, 2021. \nUPDATE: READ ABOUT THE 2022 COLORADO CONCOURS HERE \nMore than 10\,000 spectators\, car owners\, sponsors\, and vendors turn out for a family-oriented day with live music\, food\, exhibits\, and special awards. \nThe Colorado Concours & Exotic Car Show is an annual event showcasing over 500 rare vintage sports cars\, early classic collectible cars\, and the latest luxury exotic and supercars. \nHistory of the Colorado Concours d’Elegance & Exotic Sports Car Show \nThis event was the brainchild of two Rocky Mountain Region Porsche Club of America car collecting members; Tom Scott and Stim Kennedy. In 1983\, these individuals presented the idea for a car show to the Board of Directors of RMR with the idea of making the event a fundraiser for a deserving local charity. \nColorado Concours d’Elegance & Exotic Sports Car Show \nIn the first two years\, 1984 and 1985\, the show was part of the “Carousel Days”\, a benefit for The Marvin Davis Children’s Diabetes Foundation\, and was held in the Cherry Creek Shopping Center parking lot. \nThere were approximately 30 collectible cars on display and the contribution for the charity was about $1\,200. \nIn 1986\, the charity was changed to Cerebral Palsy of Colorado (name changed to Ability Connection Colorado in 2013) Children’s Program when the Davis Family moved to California. \n \nThe car show was then moved to the University Hills Shopping Center and was there for four or five years. Two Curator’s Choice awards will be presented on Sunday. \nJudges examine the authenticity of the vehicle\, the workmanship of all the restoration work before awarding prizes. \nVehicle Class Judging – Judging during Old Car Festival uses a 400-point system. The winners in the judging competitions are almost always “restored” vehicles. Professional museums that collect vehicles\, however\, prefer to collect un-restored vehicles. The ultimate standard for museum collecting would be a vehicle with all of its original\, un-restored surfaces and components in “as-new” condition. Although the standard is seldom obtainable\, vehicles that approach it are the best expression of the standard against which cars are judged is the way they appeared and functioned when sold new from the dealer to the original owner. \n(See This Article For More Information: How Classic Cars Are Usually Judged (or How They Should Be) \nThey are also an expression of the “material culture” of the time in which they were created\, and\, hence\, provide the best permanent documentation of that period. You can even bring your own car to be part of MotorSport Park with car club style parking. \nThe Radnor Hunt Concours d’Elegance is in its twenty-third year. It was started with a group of friends and about 35 cars\, and has evolved into a three-day event that incorporates a variety of activities. DESCRIPTION:The Hillsborough Concours d’Elegance Car show is home to the longest-running automobile Concours in the world and is held each year in Burlingame\, California. This year’s car show and events is scheduled for July 17-18\, 2021  and will host over 225 classic\, vintage and antique automobiles\, and motorcycles\, to compete for awards and distinction. \nFor the past 65 years\, the Concours car show\, and three days of events\, will be held on the beautiful club fairways on the Crystal Springs Golf Course. Each year passionate car enthusiasts showcase their prized vintage vehicles to compete for prizes and recognition of the best-preserved automotive.  \nThe car show has a long tradition of displaying\, celebrating\, and rewarding excellence in automotive and motorcycle design\, style\, and engineering.  \nThe Hillsborough Concours features over 225 Vintage Cars on Display on the Fairway Golf Lawns of the Crystal Springs Golf Course\, south of San Francisco \nThe Concours goal is to empower future generations of car collectors and car enthusiasts to further appreciate the historic significance of classic and vintage vehicles. It does this by providing complete unfettered access to both the owners\, their stories\, and their cars themselves.    \nThis year\, car owners will feature some very special rare never-seen before vehicle types. For instance\, on display will be the Ford vs. Ferrari cars\, as seen on TV\, and a large collection of Ragtime Racers. Also available will be an elaborate display featuring the evolution of the Ford Thunderbird. \nAdditional featured vehicle marques at the 2021 Hillsborough Concours will be from BMW and Ford Motors. BMW featured models include BMW Pre-War\, BMW Neue Klasse (1500\, 1600\, 1800\, 2000)\, BMW 2002\, Touring (3- 5- 7-classes\, E3\, C/CS models)\, Motorsports\, and BMW Motorcycles.  \nFuture vehicles from FORD Motors will include Ford Post-War and Pre-War vintage examples from the Ford Thunderbird years 1955-57\, Ford Imports (including the DeTomaso)\, the Sunbeam Tiger\, and lastly\, the infamous FORD Mustang. \nThe car show and events will take place at a beautiful coastal golf course\, in the California foothills\, at the Crystal Springs Reservoir. DESCRIPTION:July 9\, 2021 (Updated) The largest car show to take place in South Bend Indiana called the Copshaholm Concours d’ Elegance will open promptly at 9:00 am on South July 10\, 2021. \nALSO SEE: 2022 Copshaholm Concours d’ Elegance \nFestivities include a +100 car show for vintage and classic vehicles\, all-day tours at the Copshaholm “Oliver” Mansion\, and a Burt Levy book signing at the museum store tent. Vehicle awards are presented at 2.30 pm and the Concours closes at 4 pm. \nThe Copshaholm Concours d’ Elegance is Co-sponsored and presented by LaVine Restorations & The JBS Collection. \nThe Studebaker National Museum is thrilled to host the Concours d’Elegance at the famous Copshaholm Estate in a garden-party setting that includes nearly 70 vehicles. For the first time\, the show will take place in South Bend\, Indiana\, and feature a variety of Indiana-produced vehicles. It will also feature some interesting new vehicle class names that are said to have a “Sense of Humor”. \nThis year the car show will be held at the Copshaholm Estate in the landscaped Italianate gardens of the 2.5 acres estate. The estate is a historic landmark and is on the National Record of Historic Places as a Registered American Treasure. \nThe main house\, with all its 14 fireplaces\, was designed by famed New York architect Charles Alonzo Rich and was built in 1895 by industrialist millionaire J.D. Oliver who was the president of the Oliver Chilled Plow Works for over four centuries. The estate is often referred to as the “Oliver Mansion” due to the Oliver Family living at the mansion for over 72 years. \nThe Copshaholm Concours d’ Elegance takes place at the Oliver Mansion Estate once owned by the industrialist millionaire J.D. Oliver  \nThe elegant Romanesque Queen Anne mansion\, which is also open for public tours\, has over 38-rooms\, a vintage teahouse\, rose garden\, pergola\, tennis lawn\, fountains\, and more. The furniture is all original and interior furnishings include porcelains\, silver\, prints\, stained-glass\, bronze statutes\, including some items by Bartolozzi and Lorado Taft. \nBut on July 10\, 2021\, the Copshaholm Estate will be transformed into a vehicle playground and feature over 75 vintage\, antique\, classic automobiles and motorcycles. Some iconic vehicle classes will include American Muscle Cars\, American Sports Cars\, Over-The-Pond British Sports Cars\, Luxury Classic Cadillacs\, Vintage Coachbuilt Classics\, Fabulous Fins of the 50’s\, The Kickin’ Brass Era Cars\, and of course\, the Studebaker Muscle Cars. \nThe Copshaholm Estate will be transformed into a vehicle playground and feature over 75 vintage\, antique\, classic automobiles and motorcycles.  \nSome famous historic American vehicles and Marques on display at the show will be Corvette\, Caddilac\, Buick\, Studebaker\, Kaiser-Darrin\, Muntz\, Kurtis\, Woodill\, and Nash-Healey.
