Dodge. The residence  is the ninth largest residence in the United States and includes 110 rooms and covers 88\,000 square feet. Today\, Meadow Brook Hall is owned by Oakland University. (1979–2010). \nMeadow moved the venue in 2010 to Plymouth\, MI\, to the John’s Golf Course in Plymouth\, MI\, and changed its name to the “Concours d’Elegance of America”. The St. John’s Inn is a large venue with over 200 acres of carefully sculptured and landscaped lawn. The Concours was very popular attracting over15\,000 car lovers per show. The show was forced to find a new venue when Luxury homebuilder Toll Brothers was granted approval for a new $100 million luxury condominium development. (2011-2020) \nIn 2021\, Hagerty stepped in and bought the “Concours d’Elegance of America” and renamed it to “The Detroit Concours d’Elegance”. DESCRIPTION:The Lime Rock Sunday In The Park Concours d’Elegance will take place during Labor Day weekend at the Lime Rock Historic Festival in Lakeville\, CT\, on Sunday\, September 2\, 2024. Sunday’s event\, officially called “Sunday in the Park“\, includes two significant mega car show events for both car enthusiasts and car collectors. \nBoth events happen on September 2 at the Lime Rock Park Race Track. The first is the “Lime Rock Concours d’Elegance ” and the second is the “Gathering of the Marques”. Both are massive car shows\, but each encompasses a different classic car theme. \nPre-war and Post-war classic cars will be on display at the 2024 Sunday in the Park Lime Rock Concours \nThe 2024 Lime Rock Concours will showcase nearly 200 exclusive\, invitation-only entries\, all displayed along the Sam Posey Straight. The event will feature a combination of general and specialized classes\, each offering a diverse visual and technical insight into the automobile’s rich history and its varied evolution. \nThis year’s event will spotlight the potent Chrysler Hemi engine\, as used in vehicles spanning from Vignale-bodied Cunningham sports coupes to earth-rumbling muscle cars. Additionally\, this year marks the centennial celebration of the MG brand\, with exhibits of competition\, prewar\, and postwar models. \nLime Rock Concours d’Elegance Schedule\nFirst\, The “Lime Rock Concours d’Elegance” is an officially scheduled Concours featuring over 200 historically significant cars and motorcycles from 1901 to the present. This year the show will include special car classes that include Production Corvettes up to C7\, Race and Production Trans Am Circuit Racers\, and Detroit Steel Cars of the 1950s. \nClassic Bentley wins an award at the 2022 Lime Rock Concours d’Elegance \nAdditional classes on display will include Porsche Outlaws\, Carrozzeria Pininfarina Cars\, and a variety of magnificent Supercars.
