DESCRIPTION:One of the rare Concours to focus on automotive design\, rather than collectibility\, is the “Eyes on Design” Concours that takes place at the historic Eleanor Ford House Estate each year. \nAlso See: 2022 Eyeson Design Article \nStarted in 1986\, this year the event will take place at 10-4pm on September 19\, 2021. \nEach year the Eyes on Design event attracts thousands of car enthusiasts and club members from the transportation and automotive design community to celebrate and reflect on over 100 years of automotive design history. \nVehicles on display at the show are chosen based on the year’s theme\, are by invitation only\, and feature between 200 and 300 vehicles. \nThe event takes place on the majestic waterfront lawns of the 85-acre Estate of Edsel and Eleanor Ford Estate in Grosse Pointe Michigan. \nThe Ford Estate was designed by famed architect Albert Kahn\, and the 85-acres lawns and gardens were designed by renowned landscape designer Jens Jensen.
