DESCRIPTION:The Concours at Copshaholm & Car Show will be celebrated in South Bend\, Indiana at the 2.4-acre Copshaholm Museum and Estate on Saturday\, July 9\, 2022. The event will feature over +90 pristine cars\, all award-winning\, historically significant\, and sometimes one-of-a-kind. The cars date as far back as 1901 and are as new as 2022. The show competition will start at 10:00 in the morning and run until 4:00 in the evening. \nThis year marks the fourth annual Concours at Copshaholm. The Car Show &  Concours will be a competition of classic cars for design and elegance. The 90 unique and rare automobiles on display will be a premier celebration of automotive design and styling as well as family-friendly programming. \nOn Saturday\, The Concours Car Show will display and highlight specific Chrysler models as a featured vehicle event. There will also be a variety of private cars from individual car collectors’ collections on the estate grounds. These vehicles will include Jeeps\, German automobiles\, Packards\, and more. SUMMARY:Keeneland Concours d’Elegance Classic Car Weekend At the Prestigious Keeneland Race Course (July 14-17\, 2022)
DESCRIPTION:LEXINGTON\, KENTUCKY – The 19th annual Keeneland Concours d’Elegance will feature over 160 classic cars at the renowned Keeneland Race Course in Lexington\, Kentucky on July 14–17\, 2022. \nAs Concourse d’Elegance is a competition of vehicle quality and elegance\, the car show will include judges and awards. There will be many car class awards and one final award for the best car of the entire show\, called the “Best of Show.” \nThe Concours d’Elegance will showcase some of the finest vehicles in the country and will be judged on historical authenticity\, presentation\, and cleanliness. \nOn Sunday\, July 17th\, at 10 a.m.\, the Concours opens to the public. This is where everyone can come and socialize among the cars on display. Then\, at 3:00 pm\, the judging ends\, and one by one\, the cars will proudly drive past the crowd to accept their award. \nIn addition to the Concourse d’Elegance\, the weekend offers a Car Tour d’Elegance\, a Car Club and Paddock Car Show\, an Automotive Fine Art Show\, a Silent Auction\, a Bourbon Car Tour & Luncheon\, and a Maserati Mingle. \n\n\nExperience Keeneland Concours d’Elegance in the\nHorse Capital of the World. \n\n  \nUnique this year\, Porsche will proudly display a host of cars as the featured marque. All revenue from the Concours will benefit the community and go toward scholarship programs funded by the Rotary Club Foundation. \nThis year’s Concours will highlight British Elegance & British Performance as a unique featured class among the countless antique vehicles on display on Sunday. DESCRIPTION:The largest vintage street race in the country\, the 40th Annual Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix\, takes place over ten days and features racing\, auto exhibits\, parties\, parades\, and motorsport activities. The marathon takes place through the streets of Pittsburgh and through the hills of Schenley Park. \nIf you haven’t experienced real vintage street racing\, then this event is for you. Spectators attend the car shows and watch the vintage racing from the beautiful Bob O’Conner Golf Course. The races honor that of the origins of sports car road racing in the 40’s and 50’s at Watkins Glen and Elkhart Lake. The PVGP in Schenley Park remains the nation’s only vintage race held on city streets. \nThe PVGP Grand Prix Race through Schenley Park has 22 turns\, 11 elevation changes\, approximately 100 telephone poles\, an expanse of stone wall\, and numerous manhole covers. It’s no wonder the 2.33-mile circuit tests driving skills and entertains crowds. The races start every day at 8:30. \nThe PVGP races through Schenley Park are considered by many drivers to be the most challenging race course worldwide. With 22 turns\, 11 elevation changes\, approximately 100 telephone poles\, an expanse of stone wall\, and numerous manhole covers\, it’s no wonder the 2.33-mile circuit tests driving skills and entertains crowds. \nThe races start at 8:30 am each day and run until approximately 5:00 pm. Your donation will also include up to 5 adult event admissions per car. \nFrom 9:00 AM through 6:00 PM Free air-conditioned shuttle buses will take you to the golf course or over to the start/finish line. \nTo get there turn right from Forbes Avenue onto Schenley Drive Extension\, just before you reach the Carnegie Museum\, and proceed through first light and across the bridge. \nIf you want to use a GPS plugin the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens at One Schenley Park\, Pittsburgh\, PA 15213. \nThere are parking lots and garages in Oakland and near Carnegie Mellon – but they do not offer free shuttle buses up the hill to Schenley Park. \nLastly there is no parking available at the Schenley Park golf course clubhouse.
