SUMMARY:Gooding Company Presents A Geared-Online Classic 40+ Car Auction (December 4-8 2023)
DESCRIPTION:Gooding & Company is set to host a “Geared Online” classic car auction\, an internet-only event\, from December 4 to December 8\, 2023. \nThe Geared Online Auction will be hammering out over 46 classic cars and a half-dozen or so motorcycles. The cars are diverse and all over the map. They range from a historical 1886 Benz Patent-Motorwagen  (Replica) to the modern 2019 Porsche 911 Speedster ‘Heritage Design Package’. \nThe entire car collection of 46 cars represents a variety of well-known iconic luxury brands such as Rolls-Royce\, Land Rover\, Porsche\, Ferrari\, Maserati\, Chrysler\, Cord\, and Cadillac\, among others. \nForty-Six restored and unrestored classic cars ranging from 1886 to 2019 will be auctioned online by Bonhams from December 4th to 8th\, 2023. \nThe Geared Online auction series is best known for its diverse selection of classic cars\, some offered with reserve and others without\, catering to collectors all over the world.  Gooding & Company Website is located in Southern California where the cars are available for inspection. \nAmong the highlights of the auction are three iconic Porsches\, each with its own unique story and appeal. The 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Lightweight\, a highly sought-after model\, is estimated to fetch between $1\,300\,000 and $1\,600\,000. \nThis 991 Speedster built is just 1 of 1\,948 produced. It is equipped with a rare and desirable Heritage Design Package that was owned by one owner and has racked up only 52 miles. The car’s technical specifications include a 3\,996 cc DOHC flat 6-cylinder engine that produces 502 BHP at 8\,400 RPM. \nThe 2019 Porsche 911 Speedster\, featuring the ‘Heritage Design Package’\, is expected to bring in approximately $385\,000 to $425\,000. \nAdditionally\, a 1957 Porsche 356 A Speedster\, an super barn find and unrestored\, is estimated to sell for between $275\,000 and $350\,000\, without reserve. \nFrom Italy will be a limited-production (Marrone Colorado over Beige) 1972 Ferrari 365 GTC/4 with a rare US specification. The Ferrari is the only 500 examples ever produced. Further\, it is equipped with a 4\,390 CC DOHC V-12 engine and six Weber twin-choke carburetors\, producing 320 BHP at 6\,800 RPM. The 72′ Ferrari is estimated to sell for between $250\,000 and $300\,000 without reserve) \nThis 1932 Chrysler CL Imperial Custom Convertible Sedan with only One of Only 49 Convertible Sedans Built for 1932. It was part of the Formerly Part of the William A.C. Pettit III Collection and includes Award-Winning Restoration by Marque Expert. The car took First Place Recipient in the Primary Division at the 1992 CCCA Grand Classic. \nLastly\, two American-made iconic classics up for auction from the private collection include a 1932 Chrysler CL Imperial Custom Convertible Sedan and an iconic coffin-nose 1937 Cord 812 Phaeton.
