The Mors race cars were often owned by the sportsmen’s elite\, such as Charles Stewart Rolls and William K. Vanderbilt Jr. The 1908 Mors was among many to race in the French Grand Prix. \n#1 – The Revs Institute & Car Museum was recognized by Tripadvisor as the number 1 of 116 “Things to Do” in Naples\, Florida. \nGuests will be welcomed by the collection’s much-lauded docents and volunteers\, who will be available to discuss these remarkable engines and answer questions. \nThis year’s selections include: \n  • Influential sports cars\n  • Legendary racing machines\n  • Uniquely engineered automotive creations\n  • Over 120 years of innovation \nVisitors can see the engines of automobiles built at the dawn of the motor age\, including an 1896 Panhard et Levassor Wagonette\, the oldest motor car on display at the Revs Institute\, a rare 1901 Benz Dos-a-Dos; and a 1908 Mors Type Grand Prix. \nThe “Hoods Up” exhibit also includes a variety of racing cars from the 20th century. Look under the hood of a 1948 Ferrari 166 Spider Corsa\, the first racing Ferrari imported to the United States. Explore other standout racing cars\, such as the 1963 Corvette Grand Sport\, the 1962 Jaguar E-Type\, and a pair of Ford GT40s. \nThis 1901 Benz Dos-à-Dos has a two-cylinder\, four-stroke opposed engine. The engine is 2690 cc and rated at 10 hp at 920 RPM’s. SUMMARY:Keeneland Concours d’Elegance Classic Car Weekend At the Prestigious Keeneland Race Course (July 14-17\, 2022)
DESCRIPTION:LEXINGTON\, KENTUCKY – The 19th annual Keeneland Concours d’Elegance will feature over 160 classic cars at the renowned Keeneland Race Course in Lexington\, Kentucky on July 14–17\, 2022. \nAs Concourse d’Elegance is a competition of vehicle quality and elegance\, the car show will include judges and awards. There will be many car class awards and one final award for the best car of the entire show\, called the “Best of Show.” \nThe Concours d’Elegance will showcase some of the finest vehicles in the country and will be judged on historical authenticity\, presentation\, and cleanliness. \nOn Sunday\, July 17th\, at 10 a.m.\, the Concours opens to the public. This is where everyone can come and socialize among the cars on display. Then\, at 3:00 pm\, the judging ends\, and one by one\, the cars will proudly drive past the crowd to accept their award. \nIn addition to the Concourse d’Elegance\, the weekend offers a Car Tour d’Elegance\, a Car Club and Paddock Car Show\, an Automotive Fine Art Show\, a Silent Auction\, a Bourbon Car Tour & Luncheon\, and a Maserati Mingle. \n\n\nExperience Keeneland Concours d’Elegance in the\nHorse Capital of the World. \n\n  \nUnique this year\, Porsche will proudly display a host of cars as the featured marque. Drivers will leave Keeneland’s Performance Barn and drive first through Pasture at Marksbury Farms in Lancaster\, Kentucky\, to begin the tour. Together with the Concours vehicles\, participants will then be able to take a break at the farm and explore the history of the self-reliant farming element of our event. \nEnjoy The Sunday Unique “Tour d’Elegance And Luncheon” For A Tour Through The Back Roads Of Kentucky Ending With A Party Social Luncheon. \nThe drivers will regroup and continue the tour through the picturesque back roads of Kentucky before a pit stop in Shaker Village at Pleasant Hill.  While in Shaker Village\, drivers will be able to enjoy a delicious gourmet Kentucky-cooked meal in a picturesque Meadow View Barn. DESCRIPTION:The Forest Grove Concours d’Elegance is the longest-running Concours in the Pacific Northwest\, so it’s no surprise that it holds a  historic car show featuring over 300 classic\, antique\, and vintage cars on the majestic campus of Pacific University. \nThe Sunday Concours and Car Show will feature vintage car experiences and conversations with friends\, family\, and vintage car owners. Additionally\, the Concours will fill you up with live music\, good food\, a beer garden\, and a wine pavilion. All revenue from the Concours will benefit the community and go toward scholarship programs funded by the Rotary Club Foundation. \nThis year’s Concours will highlight British Elegance & British Performance as a unique featured class among the countless antique vehicles on display on Sunday. Jaguar\, Bentley\, and Rolls Royce will be the three British automakers highlighted. \nForest Grove Concours D’Elegance Sunday\, July 17\, 2022 \nHistorically\, British cars like Rolls-Royce\, Bentley\, and Jaguar have been closely associated with the highest degree of luxury\, quality\, and extravagance. Few people realize that both Bentley and Rolls Royce began as race car marvels. Regardless\, at Sunday Concours d’Elegance you will be able to view both new and old British-made race cars and luxury vehicles dating back to 1919. \nThe Forest Grove Concours d’Elegance will be held on the campus lawns of Pacific University. The University is located just 25 miles (40 km) west of Portland in Forest Grove\, Oregon. \nPacific University is a private university in Forest Grove\, Oregon. Founded in 1849 as the Tualatin Academy\, the original Forest Grove campus is 23 miles west of Portland. The university maintains three other campuses in Eugene\, Hillsboro\, and Woodburn\, and has an enrollment of more than 4\,000 students. The tour is for two people per car and includes and costs $150 per car. Additionally\, there is an Evening of Elegance Gala Dinner that costs $75 per person.
