The Mors race cars were often owned by the sportsmen’s elite\, such as Charles Stewart Rolls and William K. Vanderbilt Jr. The 1908 Mors was among many to race in the French Grand Prix. \n#1 – The Revs Institute & Car Museum was recognized by Tripadvisor as the number 1 of 116 “Things to Do” in Naples\, Florida. \nGuests will be welcomed by the collection’s much-lauded docents and volunteers\, who will be available to discuss these remarkable engines and answer questions. \nThis year’s selections include: \n  • Influential sports cars\n  • Legendary racing machines\n  • Uniquely engineered automotive creations\n  • Over 120 years of innovation \nVisitors can see the engines of automobiles built at the dawn of the motor age\, including an 1896 Panhard et Levassor Wagonette\, the oldest motor car on display at the Revs Institute\, a rare 1901 Benz Dos-a-Dos; and a 1908 Mors Type Grand Prix. \nThe “Hoods Up” exhibit also includes a variety of racing cars from the 20th century. Look under the hood of a 1948 Ferrari 166 Spider Corsa\, the first racing Ferrari imported to the United States. Explore other standout racing cars\, such as the 1963 Corvette Grand Sport\, the 1962 Jaguar E-Type\, and a pair of Ford GT40s. \nThis 1901 Benz Dos-à-Dos has a two-cylinder\, four-stroke opposed engine. The engine is 2690 cc and rated at 10 hp at 920 RPM’s. Frame-off restoration\, a 4-point roll cage\, a Cowl hood\, and Custom LS1 long tube ceramic coated headers are also included in the Camaro. \n\n\n1973 Chevrolet Camaro RS Type LT Custom LS1 400 HP V-8 Engine with a T56 6-Speed Transmission and Z06 Clutch \n1959 Chevrolet Impala Convertible 348 CI V-8 Engine Professional Custom Build \n\n\nThe second vehicle is a silver 1959 Chevrolet Impala convertible with a convertible top\, a 348 CI V-8 Professional Custom Built Engine\, and stunning Diamondback Whitewall tires. In addition\, the Impala has a Turbo 350 Hydra-Matic transmission\, a custom-fit 304 stainless steel exhaust\, factory-powered windows\, a top\, seats\, steering\, and air conditioning. \n\nKeeping in tradition with American Muscle\, Mecum will also offer up a Garage Kept Stratomist Blue Buick GS Stage 1 463 CI\, Automatic. This Muscle Car houses an old-school 455 engine that was professionally bored out to 463 CI and a Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. \nAddition upgrades include Aluminum stage 2 heads\, a High-performance fuel pump\, and Billet custom pistons and rods. Approximately $50\,000 in parts and labor were invested in the restoration of this vehicle. \n\n\n1971 Ford Mustang Boss 351 Fastback Only 1-of-20 and Marti Report \n1970 Buick GS Stage 1 with a Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic Transmission \n\n\n  \nLastly\, another American Muscle Car Mecum will offer up at the auction is a 1971 Ford Mustang Boss 351 Fastback with a 351/330 HP V-8 engine and a wide-ratio 4-speed transmission. The ’71 Mustang has only 26\,750 miles and is 1 of only 1\,806 to be produced.
