The Vail Automotive Classic Car Show & Concours will celebrate its 13th annual three-day car and automotive festival in Vail, Colorado on September 16–18, 2022.
The three-day car-themed event will take place at one of Colorado’s secret hot spots called Vail Village. The event will host over 100+ collector cars including antique cars, vintage cars, modern supercars, and motorcycles.
Featured car-themed events and experiences include a Barrett-Jackson Mountain Road Tour; Cars and Cocktails Drinks and Dinner; Cars & Coffee Car Show; and The Vail Concours and Car Show as a finale. The three-day event starts on a Friday and ends on Sunday.
“THE SCENIC ROAD TOUR”
Friday, September 16
The first day of the event starts on Friday, September 16, with a Barrett-Jackson sponsored Mountain Road Tour. The tour includes a beautiful scenic drive from Downtown Vail to the majestic city of Steamboat Springs. In the middle of the tour, there will be a pitstop in Steamboat Springs for a catered picnic lunch.
After lunch, the tour returns to Vail via a new and exciting scenic route. At anytime, drivers can breakaway from the tour to further explore the beautiful city of Steamboat Springs or other parts of the mountainous region of Colorado. (Advance Registration Required)
AFTER DINNER PARTY
Later in the day, after the tour, there will be a “Cars & Cocktails” Texas BBQ Dinner. This is an opportunity to meet new friends, catch up with old friends, and share car stories and experiences. The event is filled with all types of food, drinks, beer, wine, dancing, lawn games, and live music featuring an original country Twangbox. The dinner is open to car show participants.
“CARS & COFFEE”
Saturday- September 17
On the second day, Saturday, September 17, there will be a casual “Cars & Coffee Car Show” at the base of Vail Mountain’s on the lawns of Gondola 1. The show includes all types of old antique, vintage, muscle, and brass era collector cars. Beyond the old cars, the show will include ultra-exotic sports cars as well as newer supercars and hypercars from brands such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and Paganini.
The Cars & Coffee Car Show takes place on the lawns of Vail Sports Mountain Plaza at the base of Gondola 1. If your in the area, it’s a must to see! The Car Show is FREE and there is plenty of parking. The show takes place from early morning to mid-afternoon.
“THE VAIL CONCOURS CAR SHOW”
Sunday- September 18
The Vail Concours Car Show is the main event of the three day weekend where some of the finest cars in the world will be on display. The car show takes place on Sunday, September 18 throughout the charming streets of Lionshead Village. The show will feature over 100 pristine, ultra-rare, and expensive cars from car collections around the country.
Over the course of the day, the cars will be judged by experienced car collectors and rated for their appearance, design, and condition. The judges will then present awards for the best show cars.
Sunday’s Vail Concours Car Show is FREE to attend and there will be plenty of free parking. If you want to feel like a local, then stick around and join the in-town after parties…
