The exhilarating 80th Member’s Meeting kicks off Goodwood’s 2023 motorsport season, bringing back the electrifying ambiance and friendly spirit of the classic BARC race meetings that took place at Goodwood throughout the ’50s and ’60s.
The Goodwood Road Racing Club is hosting this private event on April 15–16, 2023, at the Goodwood Motor Circuit in Chichester, West Sussex, United Kingdom.
The Goodwood promises a heart-pumping weekend filled with spectacular motor racing, high-velocity track demonstrations, and an abundance of entertainment. SATURDAY SCHEDULE
On Saturday, brace yourself for an action-packed day featuring thrilling track activities such as qualifying rounds, intense races, and high-speed demonstrations. As the sun sets, immerse yourself in a spectacular evening filled with a variety of live music performances, delectable food options, and to top it all off, our breathtaking, signature fireworks display that you won’t want to miss!

Get ready for an exhilarating Saturday night party, exclusively for those holding a Saturday or Weekend pass! As the final race concludes, prepare to dive into a world of pure entertainment – at no additional cost! Anticipate the unveiling of our thrilling 2023 plans, featuring a spectacular selection of tunes, mouth-watering cuisine, and captivating performances spread across the venue as daylight fades away.
SUNDAY SCHEDULE
The pinnacle of racing occurs on Sunday, making it an absolute thrill for die-hard motorsport fans. The adrenaline-pumping high-speed demonstrations will be showcased again on Sunday, offering unparalleled on-track excitement.
The Goodwood Members Meeting Festival offers a full day of activities for all ages, such as sack races, egg and spoon races, three-legged races, bean bag tosses, and traditional Skittles with pin bowling.
GAMES FOR THE KIDS
The legendary array of games at the Members’ Meeting is simply unmatched. Imagine playing Croquet one moment and racing ferrets the next! While participation is optional, each game earns points for your House in the thrilling weekend contest. Don’t think these activities are limited to kids – we enthusiastically welcome players from all age groups!
List of Activities for Freinds, Family & Kids
- The Great Hall and Skid Pan will offer Kids’ Kart Racing, Shuffleboard, and Stunt Driving Challenges – For adults only while the Social Club offers Darts and Snooker.
- For kids, The School Sports Day Hurricane Lawn will be filled with a Sack Race, an Egg & Spoon Race, a 3-Legged Race, a Bean bag toss, and old fashion Skittles with bowling at pins.
- The Pit Lane Lawn will feature a muscle head Tug – O – War at 1 pm, 2 pm & 3 pm daily and the Supershell Lawn will offer Axe Throwing – again for adults only.
- On both the Country Corner and the Lavant Corner will be Grwon-up Axe Throwing (adults only) while the kids can enjoy old fashion Sheep Herding, crazy Ferret Racing, Laser Clay Shooting, and an Air Rifle Target Shooting contest.

Bonhams Sale Goodwood is thrilled to collaborate with Bonhams, presenting one of the most esteemed car auctions at the 80th Members’ Meeting. Featuring an array of rare, classic automobiles and cars with an illustrious lineage, the complete auction catalog will be unveiled in the upcoming months. Experience some of the astonishing vehicles that were showcased for bidding at the 2023’s 80th Members’ Meeting.

The event will provide a variety of food, drinks, vendors, stands, and outdoor restaurants serving a wide selection of delicious meals and snacks.
OPENING DATES & TIMES
Every day, the gates open at 7:30 am, giving visitors a great opportunity to explore the paddocks before the action gets underway at 9:00 am on Saturday and Sunday. The event’s closing times are 7:00 p.m. on Sunday and 10:00 p.m. on Saturday.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Goodwood is located only four miles North of Chichester, West Sussex only 60 miles from London, and 30 miles from Brighton and Southampton.
DIRECTION BY TRAIN
Chichester is the closest railway station, and trains from London Victoria arrive there often. Additionally, services are offered from Brighton and Portsmouth. The station offers both frequent shuttle buses and taxis.
Where to Park?
All visitors can park for free during the Members’ Meeting. In the fields around the Motor Circuit, there is parking that is on grass. There is no advance parking at the Members’ Meeting because it is only open to the GRRC community, unlike at the Festival of Speed and Revival, however, we do have special parking alternatives for GRRC members inside the event.
