PALM BEACH, FL. ‒ FEB 11, 2022 – Barrett-Jackson, known as “The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions”, will return to the Sunshine State for Jacksons’ annual West Palm Beach Auction at the South Florida Fairgrounds on April 7-9, 2022.
“Last year we postponed our West Palm Beach Auction due to Covid-19,” said Craig Jackson, chairman, and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “After an unbelievably successful 2022 Scottsdale Auction earlier this year followed by a record-breaking return to Las Vegas in June, it is clear that classic car collecting is back.
In 2019, Barrett-Jackson sold 632 classic vehicles worth over $30.18 million. Additionally, $550,000 was raised through the sale of three charity vehicles, and a record number of 1,500 bidders attended the auction.
Since The Palm Beach Auction was cancelled in 2019, there has been pent-up demand for collector cars. Barrettt-Jackson stated that “We can’t express how excited we are to bring the Barrett-Jackson experience back to the Sunshine State with the incredible collector car community in South Florida.”
Since 2002, Barrett-Jackson’s Palm Beach Auction has been the epicenter for East Coast and Southeast car collectors. From celebrity appearances of the past like William Shatner, Vanilla Ice, Captain Lee Rosbach, and legendary Burt Reynolds
Barrett-Jackson has also seen the likes of renowned philanthropists like entrepreneur John Staluppi’s who sold his “Cars of Dreams Collection” in 2018. Barrett-Jackson has also helped raise millions of dollars in Palm Beach for numerous local and national charities, contributing to the more than $134 million the company has helped raise to date.
